We paid more for this hotel than the Hilton Garden across the bridge as we wanted to treat ourselves. It looked deceivingly nice online. When entering the room it smelled musty and dank. Looking around we saw black mold around the vent on the wall and in the ducting. There were dark urine stains on the toilet seat rim as well as fecal matter. When we notified the front desk they said they could move us to a different room 'tomorrow', meaning the next day... also meaning we were stuck in that room for the night. We had to clean and bleach the bathroom ourselves in order to use it for the night. The shower tub was not clean either with a leak on the interior tile wall running into the tub. The staff had no means to deal with this problem or others we had encountered.

The property has a beautiful outside area and the staff was great! The only downside was that it took at least 5 minutes for the water to heat up in the shower.

Pros: beach is great. They sectioned it so the water is calm by the beach. We only tried one restaurant named Ocean food was very good. Not cheap but given the quality and convenience it was worth it. They did not have much traffic for some reason. Very underrated. Cons: Front desk is so slow. From standing in line to finishing checking in it took us almost an hour. It was such a waste of time. The property including the amenities and rooms are all very dated. The AC system is weird like it's always on energy saving mode so even if you set at the right tempurature it gets hot in a while at night. If you are a hot sleeper you will not sleep well. They only allow Uber pick up from a distant spot. The taxis waiting directly in front of the lobby are a rip off and the driver we used was very rude.

I love everything!!! The little playita was beautiful. The pools were clean. The staff were very nice and polite . They always were there for us, when we needed them. the entertainment during the night was marvelous!! I had a great time with my family , my 6 year old had a blast.

This hotel desperately needs to hire more staff. Everyone who works there is great, but there are always long lines at the front desk and only one or two people working. Otherwise it's clean, convenient, a little run-down for the prices, and kind of like being on a cruise ship.

Beautiful views but very poor customer service!!!

This hotel is in a great location! Beautiful views from our balcony!!! We arrived on a Thu afternoon & checked out on Sun morning, there was no air conditioning the entire stay. We were told repeatedly that it was being fixed but never was. It was 81° in our room & finally got a fan on Saturday night. Because I prepaid through Hotels.com they only offered to refund my resort fees & one tab I had at the bar, a total of $185! I paid over $2000 to stay there & a measly $185 was the only thing credited! Our stay was during the big festival week so there were no options to move to another hotel either. It was very disappointing to start vacation that way!!!
