Everything was perfect except the check out. The staff seemed quitecrudecand affronted that we asked fir a late check out. We asked prior to our checkout as we have 2 children under 2 and were told to ask on the day. When I asked that morning, the staff (different from the rest of the week) seemed surprised that i would ask such a thing and were disinterested and told us flatly no, but we could get showered and changed up by the soa area. This would have been ok, but with 2 infants and our luggage packed and kept by reception this made it laborious and to be honest left a sour memory, which is a shame as the rest of the staff throughout the week were perfect. The only other thing was that we were put in a room downstairs, this again was difficult with a buggy and 2x infants.

We loved our stay here, we had a junior suit on the corner, the view was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Although some parts of the room were showing a bit of age it was very clean. Staff were mostly very friendly although we did come across one waiter and bar staff who were slightly rude. The rest of the staff made up for this massively. The pool is nice and always had plenty of beds available. Although it was cold it was appreciated in the heat. The pool entertainment was always fun. The spa is lovely we were lucky to get a free entry with the tour and really enjoyed the pools. Food was good, we enjoyed the different themed nights, im a fussy eater and always found something to eat. Entertainment was a lot of fun however we did notice the different performers played the same songs, we guessed they are trying to appeal to an older audience. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would come again.

We had a really nice stay! The staff were wonderful they went out of their way to accommodate our last-minute request for a room close to our friends, which we truly appreciated. The location is great, about a 1.5 km walk to the beach, so it’s easy to get out and explore. The food was okay overall. As a vegetarian, breakfast was a bit hit and miss, but there were still some good options to make it work. Recommend renting a car to eat out! The gym was decent a bit hot and quite busy, and the rower wasn’t working during our stay but they did a great job keeping fresh towels and water available. Overall, a pleasant experience and we’d happily return!

In total there were 15 of us staying in various locations. My stay in Gloria Palace was excellent , staff were most friendly, cleanliness was perfect, rooms all have sea views & are most spacious. I had only one complaint, my main course meal,which was duck, was inedible. I was unable to eat it as it was tough. I told my waitress but nothing was done ! So I again mentioned at reception & was told by the gentleman that he would ask his boss. When I was checking out I again asked & was told that nothing could be done!!! Such a pity that it wasnt dealt with correctly.

Great hotel, nice room with all of the essentials. The facilities are great, pool not overcrowded and communal areas kept clean and nice. The staff is amazing, special shout out to Rita Suares in the restaurant, she was the kindest. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of the 5, the food is decent, but not amazing. I love Spain and Spanish food, which I felt was lacking. Overall i would recommend

Ha sido una sorpresa muy grata. El hotel, aunque es uno de los pioneros en la isla de gran Canaria, se mantiene en un estado magnifico. Los buffets son variado y de una calidad fantástica, con zonas que cocinan pescado y carne al momento. Las habitaciones amplias y confortables. Fuimos con nuestra perrita y son uno de los pocos establecimientos que son pet friendly. Volveremos sin duda.

We stayed here for a week and will definitely come back. It is a fantastic hotel, the room was a great size, modern with everything we needed for a great stay. We only had breakfast which was good with quite a good variety/selection. The area the hotel is (San Augustin) is quite quiet but nice approx 5 min walk from lovely beach and approx 30 mins walk away from Playa de Ingles. The swimming pools in the hotel are lovely and if travelling with kids there is a child friendly pool complete with slide !! Overall we are really pleased with our stay, will definitely come back again and highly recommend to others.
