Welcoming service was basic. I went with another family which they check in first than us and when i requested to be at the same floor they told me "sorry we are full). Understandable, right? Until... when we went to the room we found 2 cockroaches. We went to front desk and they gave us a second room. We went to the room it was occupied... Third round, front desk gave us a third option room, guess where? THIRD FLOOR 3 door next to our friends room. They have two elevators, although their inspection was in nov. Of this year something was wrong. When you are about to get to the first floor it sound like their is a loose piece between elevator and wall... Overall cleaning was ok. Except the hairdryer looks like it was like sticky (dust and years). Parking: need to pay $3 weekdays and $5weekend. It usually price runs from 6am to mid night. Needs to wake up at 6am to extend time to the parking. The following is not a feedback it is just if you want to know...about BREAKFAST options: Egg, hard egg, sauge or bacon (one option different day) Yogurt, Waffles, cereal, and fruits, coffee, tea, and machine juices.

We love so much about Tru! Love their ice machines and their water bottle refill station which saves us from having to bring water gallons and assures us ice cold water whenever we need it! We love the lobby with the board games and foosball area. One of the tables needs repairing, but the lobby is great! We love the local board with restaurants and local events and things to do! Wonderful! The staff has always been nice as well. I do prefer a little more professionalism and not vocalizing disapproval of other employees in front of guests, but everyone is still quite friendly! The rooms are nicely maintained, clean, and all are modern and have nice layouts. Fridge did not work this time, but we could have easily asked for assistance or a different one if it had been a big deal! Breakfast is also solid! Coffee is good, and it is a hot breakfast! Eggs are those fake ones so the consistency is a bit off, and the sausage had a thin casein on it I think, but I’ll take a free hot breakfast with waffles and coffee and lots of options for all eaters! Each time we’ve stayed (3X in 2025), it’s been great, and it is a super close/short walk to the mall and the Riverwalk. Definitely would recommend!

Everything was relatively clean and staff was alert. I was lucky enough to find a spot on the street during my stay and not have to worry about valet. Hotel is at a good location to walk to various attractions.
