The hotel staff are very nice. This Hyatt classifies itself as a resort but it is not clear why. To us it just felt like a regular city hotel bit past its day. The Saturday night music in the atrium is a bit loud for sleeping in the lower rooms. The restaurant was slow service. The room was comfortable and atmosphere of hotel staff and fellow guests was very good. Great location for downtown attractions including the Alamo!

My two complaints about the hotel are the pocket doors to the bathroom in our room. Very noisy at night. And our toilet had issues. Called the front desk and someone came immediately to fix it. After an hour and leaving to get a part he said it was fixed. It was not. I understand issues happen but someone came to fix it and it want fixed. But the hotel is very nice with access to the riverwalk. Which is a plus.
