Great location and it’s right on the Riverwalk, which is an AMAZING experience and kid friendly! It’s especially beautiful at night while lit up! Plenty of dining options available. Microwaves available on mostly on floors near ice machines. Marie, our waitress from the QBar restaurant was amazing, informative and very nice and friendly! She deserves a raise Hyatt! Everyone at Hyatt Regency, staff and other hotel guests included, were super nice! The hotel was very clean and the environment as well as the atmosphere felt welcoming! We felt right at home! We will be going back later this year!

This stay was very unpleasant. According to the hotel’s check-in policy, we arrived at the hotel a little after 4:00 p.m., but the front desk staff told us that our room had not been cleaned yet and said it would be ready in half an hour. We waited for half an hour and went back to check in again, only to be told that the room was still not ready and that it would take another hour. Seeing this situation, we went out for dinner and shopping. When we returned to the front desk around 8:00 p.m., the staff told us that the room we booked was no longer available. I had booked a twin-bed river view room more than three weeks in advance, but they said it was no longer available and asked us to choose either a king-size river view room or another option. This made us feel very unhappy, especially since it was Christmas Eve, which seriously affected our mood. The front desk explained that because we booked through Expedia, they were unable to meet our original room request. Since it was already very late at night, we had no choice but to accept a non–river view twin-bed room. Even then, we had to wait another 45 minutes for the room to be cleaned before we could check in. The toothbrushes and slippers we requested were also not provided. Overall, the check-in experience was very poor, and it made our Christmas unpleasant.
