Loved this spot! Lovely clean rooms, helpful staff and great breakfasts. I highly recommend.

Personal are really nice!! Hotel needs a lot of updates. Pillow cases are in really bad shape, really old, with holes. You want to come and rest in a nice pillow. They give you water. We appreciate with the heat.

Great staff and nice rooftop restaurant. Would stay here again.

Sylvia (who speaks English) and her staff were very pleasant and helpful. As it was hot in Oaxaca at the time of my visit, Sylvia provided me two fans to keep cool at night. I'm not an early morning eater, so I didn't try their breakfast but I had use of a shared refrigerator, kitchen area and their cold, filtered water dispenser. The room I had was spartan but clean. The hotel is in walking distance of Centro (10 minutes?). I would definitely stay there again.

relax & calm place, better for on the move traveling

First off, the spa has limited hours and was closed the first day I was there; in addition, you have to pay about as much to use the spa as you do to to stay in the hotel. The spa looked really nice, but I never got to experience it. The swimming pool is quite bland with water a bit too cool for my liking and I was afraid to put my head under water for the fact the water wasn't very clear. The food in the restaurant was very good but had the atmosphere was that of a hospital cafeteria--zero character. Even worse, you could not order any alcohol at all on the premises. The big grass area in front of the spa was very nice. The rooms were simple, clean, and without a mini-fridge.The bathroom was big and nice, except for the old shower door that didn't close so all the shower water would go out onto the bathroom floor making it very slippery. I had to dry it with my towels afterwards. What a mess that was. Would I stay there again? I doubt it
