Azucena’s hotel is a nice little hotel, is located near Oaxaca centro, walkable distance to museums and restaurants. The employees at the hotel were very nice and helpful.

Very old worldly, rustic, bohemian and romantic( no tv). Did not miss the AC, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the place very charming and location is walking distance from downtown but away from the noise and crowd.

Everyone working at Azucena was very friendly and helpful. Everything was just as presented in Expedia. The room was clean. The patio area where breakfast is available was pleasant and relaxing. It was a good place to have a beer in the afternoon or evening at the "honor bar", where you serve yourself. The hotel is 8 blocks from the Zocalo, and there are many places nearby to eat or drink

We really enjoy this hotel, the bed was very confortable, the room was very clean , the staff very attentive and friendly, the only thing was the little ants but the staff resolve the issue immediately, if you are planing to visit Oaxaca we recommend 100 % the azucenas hotel !

Great value stay in Oaxaca

Great location, great service and great value for money. If you need a basic hotel you won’t need spending too much time in, you can’t find much better. Good rooms and a lovely terrace, the service is 5 star

My wife and I had the good fortune to stay an entire month at Azucenas. In that time we experienced the warmest, most gracious hospitality from every member of the beautiful staff. We felt cared for and at home. We will not hesitate to stay there again on our next trip to Oaxaca.

This is a lovely little hotel. The highlight is the roof terrace filled with plants and flowers and where they serve a very nice breakfast including eggs. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I’d definitely go back.

Hotel Azucenas

The boutique hotel was very quaint and it offered a rooftop deck. The rooms were clean and maid service was provided everyday. They also offer a Continental breakfast for a small fee, per person. We also had the option of storing a few drinks and some food in the community fridge in the upstairs kitchen. Overall it was about 6 blocks to the town center. I would stay again.

Azucenas is a well-run 10-room hotel with superb staff for reception, breakfasts, cleaning and advising on place to eat, etc. It is conveniently located on the edge of the vibrant Oaxaca historic district, close to amazing restaurants but quieter than some of the places to stay. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the morning and early evening, looking out over the city. Azucenas is suited to travelers wanting clean, comfortable, quiet, convenient and reasonably priced accommodation in Oaxaca.

Nuestra estadía fue excelente, no tuvimos ningún inconveniente. El personal en general súper amables y atentos a cualquier necesidad que tuviésemos . Lo recomiendo y nosotros si volvemos a Oaxaca nos quedamos en el hotel Azucenas. Es un hotel pequeño pero con todo lo que se necesita para estar cómodos y seguros.
