Room spotless and big bed. Warm with added oil heater was nice The bar area appeared a bit neutrals. No atmosphere Not very warm and smelt of fish. Which I don’t like! But I would return as very reasonable price and very good breakfast I would prefer it be a bit hotter for taste.

My access card to my room hadn't been programmed. Left my case etc in the corridor before going back to the receptionist in order to fix the issue. Room was bland. No paintings or wall art. Toilet/bathroom very clostophobic, required the door left open into bedroom. My stay two years ago was a far nicer experience.

I requested an early check-in as I was feeling tired after a long drive. The initial room I was given was very cold, and the radiator wasn’t working. I contacted reception and was transferred to another room, which seemed smaller than the first one, but that was fine. Unfortunately, the heating in the new room wasn’t working either. I decided to just leave it as I was too tired to deal with it any further.

Has the potential to be a nice hotel, some interior work needed to upgrade rooms. Building and location both beautiful. Staff were helpful. We were offered breakfast but didn’t have it.

Hotel was a bit tired and staff were a little thin on the ground but it was extremely clean, beds were comfortable and staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. For the price, it was excellent value

It was a quiet place. Only stayed overnight. Nothing much to see around the area. We went to the restaurant/pub downstairs but no one’s around. After 10 minutes of waiting staff came out by the bar and we ordered our food. Chicken Caesar salad where big portion of chicken and not so much of lettuce. Too salty as there’s too much anchovies. I think there was no chef around that night. Overall it was ok. The staff were very apologetic for keeping us waiting. We understand. No problem at all. We were the only customers that night + older couple. All good.
