Really enjoyed the stay, room was lovely and the shower was incredible. Buffet breakfast was really good, buffet dinner not so good. One lifeguard seemed to really hate English people and often told off the children for playing with a ball or jumping in. Overall a nice stay and would go again.

Property is really nice and clean. The staff are helpful and polite. The pools are really clean and the water was just perfect ! Only downside was the dinner buffet, we found that the quality of food served is no where near the level of everything else at the hotel

We recently stayed in VidaMar Algarve and it was exceptional. The hotel is top quality in every way. The pool area was 10/10. It was so beautiful, clean and comfortable and never too busy. The adult only area is absolutely stunning and so relaxing. The bedrooms are top class. The layout of the shower and bathroom are very well designed and really modern. When you arrive back from a day in the sun the feeling of a gorgeous air conditioned, spotless clean fresh room is just perfect. The cleaners always set the temperature just right for you. The food at breakfast was out of this world and such a variety. We visited the Primadonna restaurant at the hotel and it was absolutely delicious. The most beautiful beach lies just outside the hotel with a very short walk 2-3 mins along a gorgeous bridge all while looking directly at the sandy Salgados beach. The location of the hotel is just perfect and the surroundings of the other hotels and golf resort is just beautiful to be surrounded by. If you want to travel to Albufeira it is only €7/10 in a Uber. The way the hotel is set it’s just perfect. The staff treat everyone so well in all areas of the resort. We met an incredible guy who works at the VidaMar called Zain. If you stay here make sure to keep an eye out for him he made our stay he treated us with so much kindness and was so helpful. We also met a lovely girl called Sonia from India she was so beautiful and kind. We will definitely be returning to VidaMar it was incredible

The hotel is in a very quiet location and if you want to leave the resort you will need a taxi or a car. There are no local restaurants or shops to walk to. There is a small supermarket about 10 minutes walk away which serves good coffee, very cheaply. We had half board and the buffet breakfast is good. The buffet evening meal has a wide range of foods but can feel a bit samey from day to day. 2 nights they had weddings and we were disturbed until about 1am. They offered to move us but we didn’t want the upheaval when we only had 3 days left of the holiday. Also on one day the housekeeping missed our room and we had to request a clean which they did but not until about 8pm Coffee making is available in the room but you need to purchase the coffee pods. They have 2 gyms. One is very well equipped but you need to pay for and is open 10-7. The other is very small, old equipment, no water but open 24hrs

Beautiful hotel setting

Went for a wedding weekend and it was beautiful. The rooms are spacious, the grounds were well kept the food was good. Walking path / boardwalk was a good way to get exercise every morning along the beach. The wedding venue was beautiful!

Amazing property, well maintained and felt very safe. Location is just okay, unless you’re planning on staying on the resort only. I would recommend renting a car if you’re a tourist to go out for dinners and amenities as they are approximately 15 minute drive away
