This hotel does not provide value for the price and failed to meet expectations. Our stay began poorly. We could not access our room because the key cards were not programmed. When revisiting the front desk for assistance we were ignored by a staff member sending an email who went on to suggest we didn’t use the door handle properly. The coffee maker did not work until it was re-set. The place is generally devoid of life. When we went to the lobby bar at 7 pm there was absolutely no one there, with the exception of two staff members behind the bar. This was par for the course throughout our stay. The hotel restaurant was fully booked when open and closed two of the four nights we were there. Our room looked out on a concrete building and small encampment. Cannot recommend this property or the location.

This is a very nice hotel. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are nice and roomy for Europe. The restaurant is also very good. The hotel is a five minute walk to the old town, so if you want to stay in the old town, be aware of that. That said, if you don’t mind walking 5 minutes, this hotel is perfect.

We liked the experience for this hotel.

We appreciate more modern hotel. Location of the hotel was not idea or the best but was ok. Everything else was great. Concierge referred us to really good seafood restaurant.

Lovely hotel and staff. The room was immaculate and featured brilliant amenities such as a king sized bed, waterfall shower head and coffee machine. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Bordeaux. A 5* experience!

The property itself is great. The staff, the design, the room, the breakfast. But we had to walk for 10 minutes to get to the edge of the area where we can actually engage with city or get on public transportation like the tram. Same when back. Otherwise this is a great hotel.
