Was in room 5, one night stay for work. Great room, large ensuite, all was very well kept. TV and WiFi were good. Car park was free but not big. Staff were pleasant.
Not sure of the young guys name who was at reception and restaurant however he was very welcoming and helpful! Nice hotel and food

From start to finish it was bad. Hotel is “dog friendly” booked a superior room and a junior suite. Was told that dogs can only stay in standard rooms however we could stay in the superior room but not the suite….which is weird because if you can change the rules for one room, why not the other.
Bed in the room was completely passed its best. Both myself and my wife found the bed incredibly hard and sunken and the pillows like bricks. Asked for more pillows but was told none were available.
On Sunday the restaurant serves brunch until 1145 but guests must finish breakfast by 10, as the kitchen was closing. Not sure how it could close whilst offering the same dishes until 1145.
After such a disappointment we just wanted to leave. The trainee assistant manager was very proactive in allowing us to checkout early without charge for second night.
Hotels.com promised to speak to the manager when she started at 3pm local time but made no attempt to do so, which as a platinum member was very disappointing but it’s not the first time that they have pulled this stunt. So, still waiting for a partial refund for the first night.
I have stayed at this hotel many times and worn out beds is not acceptable and having no spare pillows is just a poor excuse
Lovely hotel. Easy parking. Nice room (slightly small), with lovely bathroom and toiletries. Delicious breakfast. Had dinner (steak and starters) and red wine- all well cooked and very good value for money! Staff very friendly.
Great overnight stay, couldn’t fault our room and cleanliness. Wonderful breakfast and good parking. Hotel is really well situated for the town centre, on a bit of a hill, and in a quiet area. Would definitely return.

Room was clean and well kept and it was lovely and warm on a cold evening. Lovely breakfast room great place to stay
Amazing staff always happy to help. The hotel is beautiful and a easy walk into town. The food at the hotel was great, would recommend eating there even if you are not staying at the hotel.
Friendly staff. The room was lovely and clean and was well equipped for my short stay. The only downside for me was that the window in my room were rattling in the wind as they didn't lock/close very securely. I would stay again despite this as overall I was very happy with my stay.
I didn’t know what to expect so I was over the moon when I arrived and saw how beautiful the hotel was. The manager Amy was very kind and made sure my room was suitable to my needs and I was not disappointed, it was stunning. I absolutely loved my room and was very comfortable.
