Nothing was a problem very helpful

The hotel was very good clean tidy plus the staff were very helpful, our room came with a bath with a shower in which Alison couldn't get in very easy so they moved us to a different room with a walk in shower, nothing seemed to much a problem. I am gluten and dairy intolerant so when we went for breakfast they had a lot of items i could have, we both enjoyed our breakfast it was very very good

Wow!

This property is beautiful! The staff went above and beyond to help us get settled in. The room is truly the coolest room we have ever experienced! I chose this property because it is right across the street from the Holland America cruise terminal. But i would book this again even if we weren't going on a cruise. It's that good!

I asked for two twin beds and we got a queen. Being I was there for only one night it was doable. The hotel was booked so we could not get another room. Staff was very apologetic, maybe should have offered a complimentary latte or something. Regardless very accommodating overall

You try once..once only

For over €150/night I would expect breakfast but that was another €20 on top. The room had not been cleaned there was a trash bag in the closet and a pillow with coffee stains that was conveniently just flipped over. No soap in the bottle by the sink. Yes I could have complained only to get a sorry but ultimately the room should have been checked where it clearly wasn’t. There are too many hotels in this price range that I would prefer to stay in next time. The corridors where the rooms located reminded me of the movie the shining was just expecting to see Johnny pop out.

Très belle localisation, il y a une station de métro à quelques pas, et même un food hall au rez de chaussé qui est excellent! La chambre donne une vue sur l’intérieur de l’hôtel, donc aucune intimité, alors on doit ferme les rideaux, donc aucune lumière naturelle! Nous avons été déçue du service offert, l’air climatisé de la chambre de fonctionnait pas (le thermostat restait toujours à 23-24 degré Celsius et aucune circulation d’air), nous l’avons mentionné à la réception le lendemain matin de notre première nuit, et on nous a dit que ce serait réparé à notre retour. Lors de notre retour à la chambre vers 17h ça ne fonctionnait toujours pas! Nous avons donc recontacté la réception pour les aviser à 3 reprises durant la soirée, et au final on nous a dit d’endurer, donc aucune offre de nous changer de chambre pour notre dernière nuit. Au Check out, nous sommes avons sûrement tombé sur une gérante puisqu’après lui avoir expliqué la situation, elle nous as directement offert le déjeuner gratuitement (une valeur de 20 euros par personne, converti en dollars canadien ça vaut la peine), ce que nous avons accepter puisque nous avions déjà payé à l’avance notre séjour. Le déjeuner est excellent, beaucoup de choix!

We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Bruno! I can't speak highly enough of how comfortable the bed was!!! The room was spacious and very quiet. We had no idea how amazing the Food Hall would be - a definite for dinner options. The staff were also very friendly.

We had an awesome stay! Plus the hotel was right across the street from the cruise port which was our purpose for coming to Rotterdam. Rooms were spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. There was an eatery attached to the hotel too which made it easy to eat and drink after hours. I loved this hotel, location close to everything and customer service was nice as well.

Stylish, Comfortable, and Perfectly Located Hotel Bruno exceeded our expectations in every way. Set in a vibrant and trendy part of Rotterdam, it offers the perfect blend of comfort and style. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered a stunning view of the harbor—an ideal retreat after a day of exploring. The location is outstanding: easy walking distance to many of the city’s main attractions, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby. There’s even a restaurant onsite for added convenience. The hotel also features an onsite parking garage, which made things especially easy for us. It’s at the end of the Erasmus Bridge, which gave us a perfect place to walk and enjoy everything that Rotterdam has to offer - international restaurants, local culture, museums, etc. The atmosphere is distinctly urban chic—modern, energetic, and thoughtfully curated. We felt completely safe in the area, had no trouble getting Ubers, and found it a perfect base for discovering all that Rotterdam has to offer. Local friends recommended Hotel Bruno to us, and we’re so glad they did. Absolutely worth it.

Our stay was very enjoyable! The location of the hotel was perfect for a couple days spent in Rotterdam before our cruise as the cruise terminal is right across the street. The room was very comfortable, the service was great! We arrived early and the front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, offering our luggage storage while we had our brunch and checked us in early. The decor of the hotel was really unique! However, the room would use a few more shelves and lights. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of various choices and absolutely worth it! We would highly recommend this hotel for any visitors!

I stayed at the Room Mate Bruno Hotel in Rotterdam for five nights during my 2025 trip to the Netherlands, eager to reconnect with a friend and explore the city and beyond. The hotel proved to be the perfect base for my adventures; just a short walk from the iconic Erasmus Bridge and directly opposite the cruise terminal. Its prime location near Wilhelminaplein Metro/Tram station made getting around the city incredibly convenient. Plus, an Albert Heijn supermarket right behind the hotel made it easy to pick up essentials. Within walking distance, I enjoyed visiting the Fenix Museum, Fenix Food Factory, and exploring the vibrant bars and restaurants around Rijnhaven Harbour area. A major highlight was Foodhallen Rotterdam, directly connected to the hotel lobby; a spacious, industrial-style space offering a diverse array of food stalls. It’s a culinary haven in one lively spot, making dining both fun and effortless. The hotel itself is modern and well-maintained, with contemporary facilities. The lobby kiosk was a particularly thoughtful touch, adding to the convenience. My room (274) was spotless and furnished with a plush, comfortable bed that guaranteed restful nights. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return to Room Mate Bruno. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rotterdam!

Mind The Front Entrance Stairs

Fantastic location if you’re boarding a cruise ship in Rotterdam…literally right across the street. The downside: The front entrance is a set of wide and treacherous concrete steps with no handrail. Danger awaits schleping your suitcases up these 5-6 steps, especially for older folks like me (75). There is no other way to access the hotel. Rooms were fine and bed comfortable. Amenities good and as expected. Bonus: The lobby is attached to a food hall with a good variety of food and beverage options. Hotel staff excellent! Plenty of eating options nearby and very scenic walking in the area. Hotel breakfast buffet very expensive at 20 Euros per person per day.
