Bit sad we didn’t get our usual room with a balcony and facing the beach. But it was a busy weekend in Hokitika with the Wild Food festival. Made for a noisy weekend too!

Located in Ruatapu, Lake Mahinapua Hotel is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of Te Waipounamu Maori Heritage Centre and Hokitika Clock Tower.
The shower pressure was Amazing!! The room was nice and warm. Reception was open until late and was very helpful
