Quiet situation in an old building. Room small and very basic - no TV or kettle, but bed comfortable and everything clean. Just what I wanted for a few nights to explore Rome

This was more of a hostel or dorm experience rather than a hotel experience. The room is tiny but we had to share a bathroom with 4 other rooms. This was not on the listing when the reservation was made. They did email us a few days in advance to let us know but by that time it was too late. The location is convenient and close to the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps but I would like to reiterate you are renting an extremely basic room and will be sharing a bathroom.

I just wanna explain is what type of property it's very old. There is no AC. It's very hot customer service seats under zero so I am very disappointed.

It was clean and close to most popular places. The building is shared with apartments and the main open foyer entrance is a shared space so residence were cooking and the smell carried through everywhere. One of those days it was fish and the smell lingered in my room. Even with the windows closed, I could hear everything. It was a very noisy building.

This hotel is not suitable for tourists, the room does not have air conditioning, only very noisy fans to sleep in, it does not have a refrigerator or television, the bathroom is old, the ceiling is peeling... the elevators are very old and you have to take a course to be able to open and close the doors... I feel cheated since I paid for four nights and only stayed one.

My wife and I liked the location and Rudi was very helpful. However, the two rooms we were offered were nothing like portrayed on the Expedia site. The first room had a shabby carpet with a grubby ensuite. The second room had a tiled floor, better ensuite but no room to move. We asked for an upgrade the following morning and were told nothing would be available for at least a couple of days. We opted for a larger room without a toilet. Not our preferred our chosen option. However, the room was cleaned daily as were the shared toilet/bathroom facilities.

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH HOTEL TEX!!! Cleanliness was excellent. Management was outstanding. All but Vatican City within walking distance. Safe area late at night. Restaurants galore. Quaint, charming, simple, older, local hotel.

Literally Old like Rome!

Very old hotel. "Nothing is automatic". Nice staff and owner but the place needs a lot of upgrades. Stayed here because it was the only option in the area well under $200/night. Water pressure didn’t work half the time which was very frustrating! This also meant the "shared" bathrooms were both lets say 'full' and unusable and a bad way to start the day. No breakfast offered (ni appetite afterwards) or credit card machine working either. With the revenue they receive there is absolutley no excuse for all this! Plz fix and relaunch.

Hotel have simple standars, nothing special but if you need only for sleep is ok. We have a bad experience because we don't have a water per 2 days and no one inform us about that. We feel very frustrated and get only apologise, no refund has been given. The rest was ok, clean and service was ok. Close to all attractions.
