The best location to walk and enjoy all Rome has to offer. Close to awesome park with fountain chess tables rose garden. Also shopping food all within reach.

Excellent staff and very clean. The room was a superior room, but very tiny. The large bed was comfortable with great linen but took up the entire room. With that said, it was a great trade. No hair conditioner was the only negative. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with lots of options. A GREAT LOCATION!!!!!!

Wonderful hotel! Very clean, breakfast was delicious, staff was extremely friendly. Great location to walk to sites, restaurants and bars. Down the road there is a local bar called “It’s A Bar”, owner is great and lots of locals hang out there. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very nice, clean, and within walking distance to many favorite places. Every member of the staff including the servers in the breakfast area are extremely friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next visit and will definitely choose Hotel Smeraldo.

The hotel’s location can’t be beat. The breakfast has great variety and something for all tastes. The rooms, although small, were very clean and had all the amenities. The staff were amazing. The one downside was that I felt everything felt damp to me. When I got into bed at night the bedding felt slightly damp and clothes that were left out felt damp.

The breakfast was a great option for our busy days in Rome. We were able to start our day with a good meal regular continental options but also some local items to try & great coffee. Rooftop bar was great for a cocktail after seeing the sights. Tried to have dinner there one night and food service was closed at 5pm not sure what happened. Overall great location and very clean. Easy to walk to all the sights and find our way back. Staff very helpful both at check in and check out and with helping us find the sights.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Smeraldo. From the time we arrived until we left, the front desk team helped us with any requests or questions we had. The rooftop bar was great to enjoy a drink in the afternoon and the breakfast was awesome! Many great options to choose from. The location was in the heart of Rome and was close to shopping, restaurants and all the sites we came to see. Leonardo at the front desk was exceptional and the room was great! Would definitely recommend this hotel and we actually have friends coming to Rome in August that plan to stay there!

Hotel Smeraldo is located in the heart of Rome's historic district. The Pantheon is within walkable distance. The hotel is maintained well, is attactive, provides a great included breakfast, and the staff are helpful and attentive.
