Very clean room, helpful front desk staff. Nice balconys and bathrooms. Location is close to Termini station which is both a pro in terms of convince but a con in terms of how safe it feels.

The room was super small. The hotel is located in the are close to termini station and felt unsafe. The cleaning crew didn’t come to clean the room for hours, despite the green card posted on the door. The breakfast was ok, lots of choices, but not a good quality. Additionally, upon checking out, the staff at the front desk requesting the foreign guests ( not Italian guests) to pay tips, made me feel very uncomfortable

This was a great property for traveling with our family of four. We got a family superiors room, which was two separate rooms connected by a private hallway. The staff is fantastic and friendly, and the breakfast was wonderful each morning. The hotel is close to the train station and three are many places to eat nearby. 10/10 recommend.

Very Noisy! First about the good: the location is great - safe street, walking distance to Roma Termini, front desk staff is amazing - fast check-in and checkout, help with taxi, etc., breakfast buffet has an excellent egg station with a great cook, the room is clean and modern, pillows are good. Water station on the floor is very convenient. Fresh towels are left at the door daily (even with no disturb sign). Now the bad: we specifically asked for a quieter room but it still was the noisiest I have ever experienced, no sound isolation between rooms - I could hear the guys next door through the wall - every word when they talked on the phone, snore, even burp, etc. The street outside gets metal clanging from deliveries to hotels and restaurants at 2-3 am and 5-6 am non-stop and the closed window does not block the noise. At 6-30 am people start walking to breakfast talking loudly in the hall. Mattress is too soft for comfortable sleep. Only one USB port to charge the phones in the room and it did not work, and front desk did not have any spare converters like in most other hotels. Warning: In addition to a tax paid in all hotels in Rome, at checkout we learned that there is a mandatory 7 euro per night tip that we did not know about (does not matter that we already left cash tip in the room).

The Room I booked was very small, same size then the bathroom. With a single Bed Room 641( I can sent you Pictures) opened the curtains and had the solid wall in front of my window! Went to the front Desk showed the nice Pictures advertised on Expedia! Ask for different room, with tween bed. No upgrades! Charged me$160.- extra for a regular Room with king size Bed. Poor advertising and Best western Plus could up grade for less! Did Not spent any money in there Restaurant ! Very disappointed in Hotel Universo Front Desk Management ! Regarding Room change and charges ( I paid in chase asap.
