Stayed in apartments. Comfortable and well appointed close to the city centre.

Beautiful historic hotel, oldest in Cork with lots of history. Rooms are very clean with plenty of room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served till 10.30am but the buffet was sparse when we went down at 10am. Nothing replenished with no cheese & meets at all. Cooked breakfast was very good.

Great hotel & location, rooms a bit on the cozy side but well appointed . Food at Sophie’s is amazing , we ate in 2 of our 3 nights.

It was a good stay.

I appreciated the history of the hotel and even the cemetery in the back. The manager was very friendly and provided us with background information about the hotel. However, the elevator was slow, and the parking was tight. We ended up parking at another location, but we had to pay each time we wanted to retrieve our car. The hotel was within walking distance to Shandon Bells & Tower at St. Anne's Church, and it was an easy walk across the bridge to downtown.

Loved this place! The rooms were not exciting but clean, quiet, and comfortable. The best parts are the location and communal areas. Great lobby, bar, restaurant areas that were comfortable and inviting to hang out with our family. Beautiful outdoor area with heating to enjoy a drink and play card games. Short walk to the downtown area for shopping and eating. We loved Cork! Parking is a bit of a nightmare but it all worked out.
