Book Rio Bravo hotels

This hotel was exactly what we needed for our first night in Belize. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and very friendly staff all around. We used this hotel as a first night launchpad since we arrived later in the day and didn't want to drive the two hours in the dark to San Ignacio. Much nicer grounds and pool than we expected and we were very happy with our dinner (fish and shrimp dishes) and great breakfast. This is a perfect place to stay on the front or back end of a trip to be close to the airport, or even to stay for a couple of days for nearby excursions!

This place is huge! Monkeys visited every day, it had everything you needed and lots of fans for keeping cool. I would absolutely stay again.

Be prepared to live out of your suitcase, no storage, very small casita. Lots of issues with hot water, due to being of grid. Long ways from San Pedro or secret beach so golf cart is a must.

Chan Chich is an exquisite adventure melding together experiencing Mayan Ruins, jungle experience with a conservation twist. We loved our daily interactions with staff to include Cali who is an expert mixologist, Emil who made everything look easy, Sean who always had a smile, and the wonderful cook Ian. Every meal was absolutely amazing! Maria and Abdiel took care of all our needs at reception including booking excursions and chartering flights. And of course our expert guides Ruben and Louise who knew every bird and the Gallon Jug Flora and Fauna like professors. They are able to share their knowledge about archaeology, medicinal plants, and wild edibles. They know every animal and animal trail and to be on a tour with them in action is truly an experience of a lifetime! I would tell all my friends about this location and go back again! The property was beautiful. The rooms were huge and so unique. The staff were wonderful. We met the owner and that was indeed very special. We would definitely stay there again.
