We were looking for a few days to truly get away from the craziness of life. This property fit the bill in every way. It’s off grid with beautiful views. Although you can hear far away traffic at times, it’s not noticable. The house has everything you need. It was so clean, the bed was very comfy, and the porch was like being up in the trees! There are many amazing birds, fruit trees, and flowers. The howler monkeys in the jungle were so cool to hear! Nicole was so helpful with any and every question we had. Having a caretaker on the property at night lent to a feeling of safety! You’d never know he was there but we befriended him and he’s so helpful and even took us around the property and picked fruit for us! If you are looking for an off-grid, quiet, serene haven for a get-away, this is it! Highly recommend!

Shanna was so kind taking care of all our needs. She made our first international trip feel easy. If you're thinking about staying here I would not hesitate. It's truly an amazing jungle experience. The howler monkeys were so amazing to sit and watch. We had a few baby howlers which were adorable. The little crocodile in the pond was fun to see. Thanks again for an amazing stay!

We spent four nights in the amazing tree house overlooking the Belize River. The beautiful swinging Howler Monkeys were right outside the house only feet away. They can be noisy neighbors but the are so worth it! The hosts are amazing and do everything possible to make this a jungle home away from home. Their pool is fantastic. Relaxing to take a dip in the pool since it’s crocodile free, unlike the river in the other side of the house. Truly made memories that will last a lifetime.

The staff is very kind and a pleasure to talk and visit with.

Be prepared to live out of your suitcase, no storage, very small casita. Lots of issues with hot water, due to being of grid. Long ways from San Pedro or secret beach so golf cart is a must.

Chan Chich is an exquisite adventure melding together experiencing Mayan Ruins, jungle experience with a conservation twist. We loved our daily interactions with staff to include Cali who is an expert mixologist, Emil who made everything look easy, Sean who always had a smile, and the wonderful cook Ian. Every meal was absolutely amazing! Maria and Abdiel took care of all our needs at reception including booking excursions and chartering flights. And of course our expert guides Ruben and Louise who knew every bird and the Gallon Jug Flora and Fauna like professors. They are able to share their knowledge about archaeology, medicinal plants, and wild edibles. They know every animal and animal trail and to be on a tour with them in action is truly an experience of a lifetime! I would tell all my friends about this location and go back again!
