If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip.

We had the place to ourselves and the beautiful wildlife right on the river. Shanna and Kenny were wonderful and handled every aspect of our trip. The pool and bbq were fun! I would definitely stay here again. The family of Howler Monkeys with babies were my favorite part. Peaceful, serene, and in the jungle.

A spacious and unique house with character - I was concerned when I read a review about it being run-down and dated, but that person must have been expexting a Hyatt. This house is right on the river with a wonderful veranda around the side and back, screened porches at each end of the house, a large well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The eclectic color scheme in the rooms was delightful and there were amazing artifacts and artwork everywhere you looked. The grounds were lovely with lots of native plants and a small platform at the river to sit. The pool wasn't large but had a great deck, partially covered, with a an outside kitchen. The best part though was when the howler monkeys brought their babies to visit on the neighboring veranda - incredible. When i move to Belize next year, i hope i can find a home just like this.
