It was very grim room, with scaffolding outside the window. The bathroom door was warped and it was noisy and difficult to open and close. The toilet seat had a cigarette burn on it and didn't fit the toilet correctly, the bathroom smelt damp and in need of updating. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, a very old mattress and a dreadful base. The pillows looked like the needed to go in the bin and i had two in one case. I didn't sleep very well at all. I think it has to be the worst room i have ever stayed in. Will not be returning here. It need knocking down.
Room was very damp and mouldy. Due to dampness the pillows and bedding felt damp. The room was cold and it was June. Had to use plug in heater and even was cold and used other blankets off the beds to warm us up.
Mould and dampness by the outer door meant we didnt t use the single bed by that side of the room. Thought would not be good for child health.
I was very disappointed in the condition of the room when I arrived, it smelt strongly of cigarettes, as a non smoker this was very unpleasant. There was dust.
The back of the toilet obviously hadn't been cleaned neither had the bathroom sides there was cigarette ash in the toilet, and there was something in the sink.
The bed also had several hairs in it.
I have stayed in budget places before and you expect some decor or damage to the room but ive never staid somewhere not clean before.
There was an event going on and people were still in the lobby shouting surrounded by empty bottles of alchol when i left at 3.20 the front desk guy just gave an apologetic smile when i was leaving as i could not even have a conversation with him they were so loud
Get what you pay for but overall OK. I could feel every spring in the mattress so didn't sleep that well. The water pressure of the shower in the morning was very low too. Room was large. All facilities worked.
This was one of my worst experiences ever for a stay over. reception and other staff were pleasant and helpful but thats where positive remarks end.
I was told there wasnt any evening foof or breakfast available.
The room was fairly clean and tidy.
The shower was hopeless and barely reached me.
Borh basin and bath plugs were detached.
There wasnt a drinking glass in the bathroom.
The TV although in working order must have a broken speaker ad the sound was awful.
So in a nutshell i would not recommend staying here.

Convenient and average standard. Would stay again, but only for night stays for closeness to where I was going. Price matched the accommodation
Firstly the room (apartment advertised) was not suitable for 3 people, which I booked for, but that was the least of my worries.
Once checked in (amongst music blaring from a party) we were led out the main entrance then down a dark alley to a white plastic door. We let ourselves in and I can only describe the room as barely suitable to house refugees in. Poorly lit, but had to leave the curtains closed as the view from the window of rubbish etc was not pleasant.
How they can charge for that room is beyond me
It was disgusting beds all wee stained and blood stained room so dirty ,I don’t think the sheets had been changed we asked for more pillows and got told they were on order ,tv no channels only UTube in a foreign it was a nightmare we sat up all night after driving over 600 miles
Damp & mould, in bedroom & bathroom, electric socket unsafe. Room shabby.
Should never have been rented out as was a health hazard. Booked 4 nights but checked out after 3 but they would not refund last night only offered to move rooms. Just wanted to get out of there.
An absolute diabolical disgrace!
You gave me the wrong room code, so not only did I set the alarm off on room 14 door while trying to gain entry but when I returned to the front desk and the guy gave me the code I walked in on a guy fast asleep!
Can you imagine the problems if he had woke?
Already an hour late landing at Gatwick, with work at 9am in portsmouth this was the last thing I needed.
Oh and i get woken up this morning to a neighbour coughing a lung up and groaning in his bathroom, go to make a coffee as all the stuff is there only to find no kettle!!
Bloody terrible!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
When I arrived there was a very loud wedding party in full swing which stopped some time after midnight. This may be unusual. Also no plug for the basin in my room. But the room and bed were clean and fine for the money. Reception staff were pleasant. Plenty of parking.
Beds small and not comfortable, not enough pillows and when asked at reception we’re told the hotel is fully booked and there are no more pillows available. Not helpful! One pillow for each person is not good for me so I didn’t sleep well. Loaded skips out the front so not attractive view. Room balconies seperate by a fence panel. Location good, close to Reigate town for restaurants. Car park good size.
You have to put reg in for free parking or you get a £100 fine which I don’t understand… the hotel isn’t in the middle of a town so this seems stupid. Old hotel, needs an update and fresh carpet or a deep clean.
