This historic country English cottage was designed by the noted NW archetect Richard Sundeleaf. With a lovely view of Lake Oswego and walking distance to the center of town, it has all the old world charm of an English cottage with the comforts of updated bathrooms and fully cook ready kitchen. Sitting on a half acre of property you will feel that you are in the country while only minutes away from outstanding restaurants. Note:
the train runs along the back of the property 4 times a day.

Amazing property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this English cottage. The architecture and the eclectic furnishings are amazing. The house was well stocked and very clean. Mary is a gracious host and recommended excellent restaurants in town and points of interest. The view of the lake from the house is something everyone should experience. Lake Oswego is a great and friendly community. We celebrated my wife’s birthday with our kids and everyone loved our stay. I highly recommend this property.

First visit to Lake Oswego

This lovely property was exactly as described and more! Cozy, elegant home in the perfect location, walkable to restaurants, stores and local farmers market. Very relaxing with everything we needed, as if we were guests in someone’s home as opposed to a rental. We will definitely return! Loved it. So many fun walking trails too.

English Cottage in gorgeous neighbourhood

Charming, warm home

Our daughter is in school nearby so we have stayed in this beautiful house numerous times. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we go to Portland. Wonderful house in a lovely area.

Wonderful retreat!

We had a lovely week at this gem of a property! There was a perfect balance of historic charm and modern amenities to make our stay very comfortable. Luckily, we had great weather while we were there, so we spent quite a bit of time on the serene patio enjoying the view of the lake. Mary was very accessible by phone and responsive to any questions we had. Looking forward to our next stay here!

A first rate experience

We had a wonderful week's stay at this charming home. It is beautifully and, most important, comfortably furnished and decorated. The location was perfect for us and a lovely neighborhood for walks, with restaurants and shops about a mile away. The trains did not bother us at all; in fact, my husband loved them! Cozy Christmas Cottage

I booked this house for my mother and mother in law for their Christmas visit. It was perfect! The view of the lake is amazing, the location is ideal for walking into town, and the home could not have been more comfortable. What a gem!

Second stay at this lovely house

The VRBO is exactly what it is advertised plus some. The owner, Mary, is wonderful and very accommodating. The house is so lovely. Our daughter is in college nearby and since we stayed there when we dropped her off, she was looking forward to staying there as well. Very close to stores, shops and restaurant. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Portland.

Lovely cottage

Just spent a few days in this lovely home for a reunion with friends. We loved every minute! The home is beautiful and has a great view of the lake and trees. It is very quiet so great for a relaxing vacation. The location was perfect, very close to town and restaurants, also a very easy drive to Portland. The house had everything we needed and Mary is a wonderful host, very responsive. We would all definitely recommend it!
