Very tired interior. Most of the staff were foreign and their English was in some cases very limited.
Bedrooms are ok but the rest of the interior is very tired and dated.
Lovely hotel room exceeded our expectations we paid to upgrade to a superior room with a view and it was well worth it , 4 poster bed with a separate seating area with another tv and another view. Breakfast was very good too, yes the hotel needs refurbished in some areas but overall a very good deal for what we paid and lovely garden to sit out in the sunshine! There is also anindoor pool which we did not make use of as weather was so nice. Food and drink prices were much more reasonable than down in the town centre which was less than 10 mins walk away. Would recommend this hotel for a stay
Super spacious room. Spotlessly clean. Evening food was average but breakfast good. Would definitely stay again.

Disliked: Staff & service
I would not stay there
I felt the service walking in was terrible The man was trying to tell you it all in 2 minutes which meant he was doing it all very fast so you didn't pick up anything. The bed was very small and the shower was awful
Last minute on the day booking and we were given a very comfortable twin room. The optional three course dinner was excellent and a singer/comedian entertainer made our evening. Great value for money.

Worst service ever
Hotel was okay a bit dated , we had a meal and the services from one memeber of staff was the wordt I have ever experienced
The exterior of the hotel was fantastic and very charming. The interior, however, was disappointing. There was an unpleasant smell in the room and the hallways. The hotel was very noisy. I accidentally spilled some water in the bathroom and tried to clean it with a towel, which turned completely black.
Room was very large with separate sitting area with tv and sofa, breakfast was good, they set up a table in the lounge bar so the dog could sit with his.
A nice looking hotel with nice amenities and grounds, short 10 minute walk to the town so easily accessible for all your needs. Hotel is a little dated but room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of options from cooked English to cereal, fruit and lots of gluten free and vegan options, staff were also very nice and accommodating
