Friendly and relaxing

Room was clean,staff was very friendly and helpful. The spa staff were also friendly and the whole experience was very relaxing. Breakfast was okay was missing square sausage to call it full scottish but apart from that it was a nice and relaxing stay .

The hotel was adequate but does require some upgrading as looks a little tired. Beds were comfortable and rooms fairly quiet. I had intended to use the spa facilities however the pool and jacuzzi were directly visible from the bar with only a glass wall separating them so decided against it. The reception and bar seemed to be combined and it seemed a lot of the public areas were not being utilised so may be they are working on revamping the place Plenty choice available ar breakfast all self service but did feel a bit busy and cramped Overall it met our needs and was quiet and comfortable in a good location just off the main street

The hotel and staff were lovely from start to finish. Loved the pool, fantastic breakfast. The only negative was the shower and bath. The shower took ages to get warm, and the bath was not draining away the water. I did mention it to reception incase there was a blockage

Disappointing Scotlands hotel stay

Leftover rose petals in room, shower power and heat on same control, so cooler water less power, not ideal. Uneven flooring in corridor, not great for my disabled wife. Swimming pool needing cleaned as scum all way round the bottom of the pool. Buffet breakfast mediocre, bacon cooked folded, leaving almost uncooked fat underneath, fried eggs drastically undercooked. No food served during the day or evenings. The whole hotel is jaded, dated and in need of some tlc. Despite what we heard about the staff issues, (regarding the entitled social media influencers) the staff were lovely, the reception staff, barstaff, chamber maids and therapy girls, but a special mention to one gentleman in particular who was on breakfast duty, who made us laugh every morning with his quips and jokes. For £200 per night i expected much more, but as we found out, most things in Pitlochry are drastically overpriced.

Beautiful hotel . Stayed for an overnight. Leisure facilities are lovely swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room and a gym but we didnt use it. We had the large family room and it was very spacious nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable but the room was roasting and no air conditioning or even a fan available. The hotel doesn't offer dinner but around the corner is pitlochry town centre and plenty of places to eat there. Breakfast was good tho. A lovely stay would come back.

Good location

Well located for walking out to amenities. Comfy room. Wasn't aware no restaurant for dinner so last minute scrabble to find somewhere. Big breakfast with lots of choice. Not impressed with mist like shower (head full of beads to reduce flow).

The hotel seems to be mid renovation but with little disruption to customers, Breakfast was a vast choice of of hot food & continental options, seems to have replaced all beds & bedding leaving it very clean & fresh, I hope I can get back later in the year when all renovations are completed
