We booked a beachfront room with a seaview through hotels.com. The first room we got was very old, had no bathtub or seaview as promised in the booking and looked not at all like the pictures at hotels.com. We complained about this right away and they offered to move us to another room the next day. This room looked more like the pictures and had a bathtub but still the seaview was very limited because of the roof of the building in front of the room.
We had paid a lot extra for the seaview, so we complained again and asked for a refund. But the supervisor at the reception was very rude and claimed, that because we had booked at hotels.com, we had not paid any money to the hotel. So we should complain to hotels.com. We did that but they only offered us a 10 percent refund and claimed, that it was the hotel, that was responsible for the images, so we should handle it with the hotels
So there we were left between 2 parts with noone taking responsibility!
We will never use this hotel or hotels.com again.

The only good thing to say about the hotel is the breakfast and the staff at the breakfast. They were excellent - but it was like dealing with a total other company than the rude and unfriendly people at the reception. Thank you to Alex and the rest of the staff at the breakfast - you were the only positive element during our stay at the hotel.
