They had landscaping personal doing landscaping work at 5:30am right outside my room making loud noise with their equipment. I called the front desk and they told me the landscaping company was a third party and they had no control over that. The mini fridge didn’t work. I called the front desk and they sent the maintenance crew but they didn’t fix it. I had to go buy an ice chest to keep my drinks and food cold. The resort needs to update their appliances inside the rooms. The TVs only got 3 channels. Really disappointed because I do enjoy the water park inside the resort and the food from the restaurant onsite.

The property is getting old, the resort price does not match the resort feel. Additionally, getting 3 text messages about check out is a bit much especially at 8:30 am when check out is not until 11:00 am. Also cleaning crew knocking at 10:00 am and again check out is at 11:00 am.

Missing items

Did a 1 night staycation for my boyfriend’s birthday, everything was great until check out. My boyfriend and I went to the pool around 9am and packed all our belongings in the car. We left our food and beverages in the fridge with the intent to grab them prior to check out. We headed back to the room to grab our refrigerator items around 10:15am and housekeeping was already cleaning our room. When I stepped inside I asked if check out was at 11am and maybe I had misread something. The response was “oh I don’t know this room was empty.” I explained yes we were here, I had the keys in my hand with our room number on it and said I came to grab the things from the fridge. To my surprise the fridge was empty and when I asked housekeeping about the items they didn’t know. They then went to their cart and grabbed SOME of the items I had left in the fridge but not all. Not the way I wanted the staycation to end as we had leftovers and treats from my boyfriend’s birthday that weren’t returned, some of which were new and unopened. I understand wanting to get rooms cleaned early, but I didn’t call down to the lobby and officially check out as I knew checkout was at 11am and made sure we had plenty of time to go back up and grab our remaining items. Just very thankful we took the bulk of our belongings!

Pros: The grounds are pretty and the water park is fun. Seemed a pretty clean. Our room was spacious. Cons: Needs a little updating and the water pressure in the shower is terrible.
