Disappointed in the staff service. Asked 3 employees what the menu was at the Rustler's Rooste and no one could tell us. Took the shuttle up for dinner and called for a pick up, no one returned to pick up our party. Did NOT get room service of coffee replacement and towels, had to ask for the service. We took out our own trash from the room. Coffee bar a mess. Ordered 4 coffees and they did not have carriers. When I asked the employee looked at me like "why would you need that". Yogurt parfaits out of date. Ordered 2 beers at the bar and when signing the tab, it was rang up for $256. Rented a Cabana at the pool/swim park, drinks and food were brought but not as ordered. Felt we were given the worst room on property. Had a wake up call every morning as we were by the receiving dock area. Backup beeping and loud noises. This took place before 6 a.m. Before going to yelp, thought I would share with you. Paid $550 a night and felt it was way over charged for the "resort" 4 diamond status.

It’s a nice place. It’s a little run down. The day we arrived was the only day that we had the time to go to the water park when it wasn’t raining. Upon arrival, they told us it was closed. No advance notice. So disappointing. The manager tried to pass the buck and tell me how disappointed she was too. Annoying. Own it, give a decent apology, and make it right. We never got to use the waterpark as a result. The rooms are nice, but older. It’s probably a good place for conferences, tournament stays, etc, but if you’re a family in the midst of that just trying to enjoy, it’s not great. The housekeeping is alright, but the soaps were all mixed around, sheets folded up and laying on the bed, etc. it’s not a terrible place, but the quality does not match the price. I’d go elsewhere next time.

It was nice but not great.

We tried this mainly for the waterpark but the water was so cold we just used the regular pools. Beds were soft enough and rooms were quiet.

We have been to this location once before and it was wonderful. That was two years ago. We went this time and were very disappointed. We paid for early check in and our room wasn't ready so they gave us another room further away from water park. The room they gave us was very worn and outdated. There was rust in the bathtub and the room smelled like mold and feet. Water park was nice but there were so many bees that the kids and I were worried about being attacked. What really was horrible is that they charge about $16 for a snow cone and the kids couldnt even eat it because they instantly attracted bees. Prob will not stay here again.

Great Time

This resort is beautiful and well cared for. The grounds are manicured, the rooms have a great floorplan and are clean. The water park is to die for, this is a dream place for kids young and old. I do feel the food is WAY overpriced but our stay was great. Heads up, there's an In-N-Out Burger just around the corner :-)
