Loved this Hotel. Super clean plus the staff is very nice. The Spanish restaurant Bolero is great. Only a couple of blocks from train station, shops and restaurants. We chose the rite place for sure.

I had a wonderful stay at the Cascada Hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and genuinely friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with items that made traveling easier and more comfortable. The location is also fantastic—just a short 6-minute walk to Lucerne’s charming Old Town. This is a fantastic hotel. Every staff person we met there was the nicest person and super helpful. The rooms were very clean with great towels that they wash in eco-hyper allergenic detergent. This place is convenient to the train station. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everyone was so helpful and there was an entrance to the station/ platforms only few minutes away from the hotel. Our room had a view of Mt. Pilatus and had everything we needed except a kettle to boil water. We also felt that the room was a little bit smaller than we expected. Otherwise, we really liked the convenient location and great breakfast and the spanish dinner at their restaurant.

Excellent Stay, but Let Down by One Staff Member

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, the experience was excellent. The service was top-notch and most of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces – they truly made us feel welcome and well taken care of. However, I must point out a disappointing experience with one staff member, Erwin. Unfortunately, his attitude stood out in contrast to the otherwise outstanding team. When I arrived with four large suitcases in my car, I asked if I could briefly park outside the hotel just to unload my luggage. Erwin firmly refused and told me I had to park in the basement of the building across the street, which has no lift. I had to drag all four bags up a slope and across to the hotel myself. What made it worse was that when I entered the lobby clearly struggling, he saw me but made no effort to assist. Additionally, during check-in, Erwin failed to mention that items in the minibar were complimentary, which I found out later. It felt as though he was intentionally withholding that information, which left a negative impression. Aside from this, the rest of the stay was truly enjoyable. The other staff members were amazing – friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. It’s a shame that one individual’s behavior affected an otherwise perfect stay.

This is a delightful boutique hotel. The front desk staff couldn’t be more welcoming, helpful, and seemed truly happy to have us as a customer. The room was a decent size for 2 adults with 3 bags. The windows opened fully to allow fresh Swiss air to circulate. We love the metal blackout blinds that also help with noise reduction. The king size bed was quite comfortable, plenty of pillows, and the typical fluffy duvets. There’s nice little touches that few hotels we’ve used in 6 weeks traveling in Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, and Italy. In the lobby, there’s fruit, cold water, and flavored candies. The room’s small refrigerator is stocked with complimentary bottled water, Coke and Coke Zero, and fruit juices. The hotel provides passes for free ground transportation during our stay. And the air conditioning worked very good, a necessity in a June heat wave. Bathroom had nice toiletries one of the best showers we’ve experienced during our 6 week trip. The hotel is less than a 10 minute flat walk to the Lucerne train station and main bus center. In addition to the onsite restaurant, there are so many food choices within just a few minutes walk. Old town (Aldstat) and historical sites are a little farther walk, about 15-20 minutes. Though there are dozens of hotel choices, we’d prefer Cascada Boutique Hotel over all others.

The location of this property was great, with high-quality service by the team. While the bathroom was quite small, the hotel has done a lot to make sure it meets all of your needs. Plus, I reckon you wouldn’t spend a lot of time in there during your trip. The rest of the bedroom was well equipped and I enjoyed the refreshments in the complimentary mini bar and finding the mini Toblerone was a nice treat on arrival. I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Awesome place, very near to our tours’ meeting points too. Somehow our AC stopped working when we came back in hot weather and couldn’t be fixed until next day. But they provided us two fans that took care pretty well. Breakfast was awesome with healthy choices. Ambiance and service were great. A lot of food options around it too. Would highly recommend!!

Only 2 blocks walking distance from the train station. Very nice boutique hotel with spacious accommodations. We were 4 friends and had a big 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with balconies making it spacious for all our luggage. Top notch staff. Two of my friends left 2 items behind and hotel called us after check out and even mailed the items to our upcoming destination and it was there when we arrived. Amazing! I would give more stars if available. And to top it off… didn’t charge us anything for this. Would definitely recommend

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Cascada! The staff are so helpful. They speak English very well, even though they feel that they don't. Haha! They are excellent at accommodating unusual needs and they are knowledgeable about booking activities in the area. We will definitely stay at Cascada again!
