Not what was listed in photos. In the photos you see a two bed room that is spacious with a balcony view of the ocean. Trust me I scrolled again once arriving to find that is not what we got. Now don’t get me wrong, that room exists, just in the Beach House building. You have to scroll to find that. I clicked the first two queen room I saw avail based on the photo and was shocked when I arrived to find out there are other buildings which are just an old motel with some paint thrown on it. So be careful that you choose beach view if that’s what you’re wanting. Idk if this hotels .com’s fault or the property for the misleading photos but after speaking to multiple guests on my floor I found I wasn’t the only one disappointed in this. Now the amenities and pools and beach access are great I will say that! But upon checking out I was shocked to see seven parking charges and “Resort fees” of 15 and 30 respectively. I only stayed 4 days. The front desk girl adjusted the parking but when I kept asking what the resort fees were she just breathed heavily and said nothing as she passed on my new adjusted receipt , seemingly unwilling to answer what the resort fees were. We made the best of the trip but definitely disappointed .

We spent about $600 per night to have a suite (one king bed, 1 bathroom, living room with pull out queen). It was just underwhelming for the price we paid. The hotel itself is just outdated and feels like it needs a lot of updating and some upkeep. Upon driving up, it just had an underwhelming and old look that we didn’t expect from the website photos. The week before our trip, we had called the hotel asking for information and they were pretty unhelpful and not very friendly. When we asked if they have any connections to photographers, we were only given the short answer “no” and no elaboration. We also asked if they had any recommendations for places to eat and if we needed to make reservations ahead of time, to which we got the response “there are a lot of great places to eat”, and that was it. Inside our room, we had a paper thin wall between us and our neighbors. We could hear their entire conversations at 11pm and they were not excessively loud. Our faucet was also leaky so unless it was set at a particular spot, it would leak a decent stream of water all night as we slept. When our kids would use the restroom at night they couldn’t figure out how to turn it off correctly. The beach was pretty, but it did have some trash on the sand compared to Miramar beach not too far down the road. We opted to avoid the pools, as they didn’t look too inviting for little kids. The mermaid visit at the pool was a fun touch, and my girls did enjoy the smores and firework show.

Great place! Loved the facilities and the short distance to the beach. My only complaint is with Expedia. They never made me aware of the resort fees when I booked through them.

The property offered 2 great pools 1 was heated. Lots of options for drinks and food. Drinks were high priced. They had music by the beach which was nice too. We stayed in the more budget friendly rooms which were small, no view, and no outside seating. We were also right next to the icemaker which people used late at night and early in the morning. There was no elevator to the 2nd floor which made carrying luggage difficult.

Been to this hotel several times and always enjoyed the pool and the amenities. There were two issues that came up that could be improved upon. One being that the bed were extremely uncomfortable. I cant remember this being an issue in the past, but they are very hard and extremely lumpy. Definitely time to invest in new mattresses. The second issue is that the chair rentals have signs up saying that no one is supposed to put personal set ups in front of the rented chairs and it is not enforced. For $55 a day for chair/umbrella rental, it was extremely frustrating to have huge groups of people blocking our view.

Recently took a vacation here. Overall 3 stars. This hotel is marketed as a 4 star resort and it’s definitely not that. Nice hotel, but not a 4 star resort. The view from my room to the beach was nice but the rooms are very dated. This “4 star resort” had no robes available in room. The elevator is old and smells. A few of the hallways have a strong scent, the wallpaper in the room is peeling off the walls and the bathroom is only half of a shower door. Floors weren’t swept. There is not closet or space to place bags. Hotel parking is a nightmare. Had to park a good walk away at the parking garage as no front parking was available. Parking is $15 plus 2.5% card charge per night on “resort”. This place is too small to be considered a resort. Just a hotel with a pool conveniently located next to the beach. I paid extra to use beach equipment $55+ tax per day for 2 chairs and umbrella. Either travel with your own or be prepared to pay $$$. The food was absolutely terrible and expensive. The best food I ate was off the resort. Food seems to be frozen and heated, not freshly made. Nothing had flavor. Including the breakfast. I would recommend not eating on the resort at all.The servers were polite. Drinks are VERY watered down. Not one drink I had was good. Staff was friendly and beach was the nicest part. I wouldn’t recommend or return.

Everything was great with the exception of how they responded to a teenager slipping and falling near the pool area. There was a long delayed response by staff and then they didn’t seem concerned that there was still blood on the ground near the pool and bridge. I took a towel after telling three staff members about the blood and cleaned it up the best I could. I did not ever see anyone go back and disinfect the area for several hours afterwards. Other than that, the stay was great! Would recommend.
