Terrible

I had a 'deluxe' double room. There was no milk for my coffee and no toiletries, just a bottle of soap on the side of the sink. There were cobwebs everywhere and a funny smell from the bathroom. Never again I think is an understatement. I know it's cheap, but I'd rather fork out an extra tenner to get a travelodge or anywhere else TBH.

Stay away!!

First impressions were that the hotel didn’t look as nice as the pictures but we only needed a place to sleep as we travelled (by car starting at 10am, we arrived around 6.40pm) to another destination. Rang the bell to call someone to reception, the gentleman who arrived was polite and friendly. The establishment and rooms smelt musty, and everything was very dated. After being in the room a little longer, we noticed that there were many areas of improvement, and cleaning. For both health and safety! Electrics of the main light on show. Dirty glass. Cups stuck to saucers. Dead silverfish in bathroom. Build up of limescale and dirty shower. The bathroom tap was loose and rusty. Sign in reception asking for “no smoking of weed”. The bed and toilet were surprisingly clean! There were no other establishments available in the area for us to go elsewhere. Whilst one member of the booking was in the shower (I personally refused to use it), the shower head fell on them. Through the night, the walls appeared to be paper thin! Could hear bathrooms, stomping from rooms above, coughing and people in other rooms awake/loud into the early hours (up to 3am). Leather wallet was damaged after it was placed on a wooden dresser, this did not appear sticky etc for an damage to be caused, but you’ll see from the image added it was damaged because it became stuck to the dresser. Unfortunately, there is a limit of 8 photos, but there were many more. Couldn’t wait to leave. Won’t be returning.
