Hotel was under renovation. Was not notified that it would be happening during our stay. Noise started around 730 a.m. and went until 7 to 8 p.m. Hammering and saws going. There was a hole in our bathroom for a ventilation fan to be put in. I asked to have it covered up and they did. The plus side was the friendly staff and the distance to the Eiffel Tower. Not sure if i would stay again. This was my second time at the hotel.

A Stay to Forget – Do Not Book: Here’s why: 1. **Hidden Construction** – The hotel is undergoing renovations, never disclosed on Expedia or their website. 2. **Unbearable Lighting Issue** – The foyer lights between rooms flickered on and off all night for three days, disrupting our sleep. 3. **Cramped, Uncomfortable Rooms** – The rooms are shockingly small—think ‘hobbit-sized.’ 4. **Poorly Designed Bathrooms** – The shower was impractically straight-jacketiny, with no towel rack. In one bathroom, there wasn’t even a shower curtain, forcing us to sit in the tub. 5. **Impossible-to-Use Showers** – The standing shower in our first room was so cramped that basic movements like bending your elbows or washing your feet were nearly impossible. 6. **Faulty Amenities** – The air conditioning was outdated and leaked water, while the sink in Room 102 blocked 7. **Dangerous Staircase** – The spiral stairs were alarmingly narrow and unsafe, causing frequent falls. We personally witnessed guests tumbling down nightly. How did this pass inspection? 8. **No Basic Bathroom Storage** – There were no shelves in the shower 9. **No Advertised Renovation** – banging constantly 10. **Thin Walls, Noisy Nights** – you’ll hear every drunken guest arriving late at night. 11. **Motel-Level Quality at Luxury Prices** comparison. 12. **High Pricing** – We paid $1,000 per night for 2 broom closets. 13. hospitality. 15. **Unsafe and Unfit for Guests** – this is a hostel not a hotel

Staff was very helpful and friendly, which made our stay enjoyable overall. The issue we had with the hotel however was the noise and comfort in the rooms. We showed up on our first day to find out they are renovating the entire first floor. They had people working till very late at night the first few nights which made sleeping hard. Besides that, any noise elsewhere in the hotel you can hear in your room very easily. We heard people working in the kitchen at 1 in the morning one night and people going up and down the stairs nonstop. The location is great though, you're a short walk to a lot of places which is nice.

It’s a great hotel and location. I will stay here again. Right now it’s under renovations, so it was loud during the day, but that didn’t bother me. Management needs to add hooks in the bathroom for towels and a mount for the shower head.

Too cumbersome to stay again

Getting TO the hotel was a challenge. It was like walking down some alleys. When we arrjved, the lady at "guest services" (a desk) was pleasant, held our luggage prior to check-in. There was a mini fridge but NO complimentary bottle waters. Asked to use their restrooms there was NO light & we had to use our phones in the phonebooth size toilet for lights. There was comstruction debris making it very hard to even get to the bathroom. We left for about 2.5hrs & returned to check-in. The elevator is big enough to hold 1 person & a backpack (nothung extra) As we get to the 3rd floor, theres vacuum cleaner hoses sprauled out (massive trip hazard). We get to our door & the door wouldn't open. The cleaner had to kick the door to open it. There was no fan in the bathroom, if you wanna call it a bathroom. Then breakfast starts at 7am but with a 47 minute ride with rush hour traffic to the airport, unexpectedly couldn't eat. For the 1 night stay, we did it. But would i recommend this hotel, eh, that would be a hard pass for 2 people longer than 3 day stay.
