"Lovely stay "
We had such a lovely stay in the one bedroom spa apartment. It was really like an apartment and was very spacious for my husband, myself and our 5 month old baby. The one hour massage was amazing and well worth the $90. The pools were beautiful and my husband really enjoyed the lap pool as he is an avid sports man. Staff were lovely and so friendly. A+

Palm Cove has been dubbed Queensland’s ‘Friendliest Beach" with its casual beach style ambiance, friendly locals, decadent spa resorts and ancient melaleuca-lined paths that welcome you wherever you go. In this small scenic town surrounded by the Coral Sea and lapped by white sandy beaches, you can relax under coconut palms, lay beneath the warm sun or listen to the waves gently caress the shore as you fall asleep.

If you’re an adventure lover, you can try your hand at jet skiing and parasailing, kayaking, and hiking. Or perhaps you’ll find yourself plunging beneath the crystal clear waters and diving amongst colourful coral on the Great Barrier Reef, only a short boat ride away.

However, Palm Cove is not just for nature lovers. Those after an award-winning dining experience won’t be disappointed. With exceptional restaurants lining the esplanade, you’ll be feasting on exquisite Thai curries one minute and hoeing into crunchy Aussie fish and chips the next.

Alternatively, if you really want to max out your credit card, try your hand at the casino in Cairns. You never know - you might just end up with more than you imagined!

If you’re a land dweller, discover the many bushwalks in Palm Cove or set your sights further to the untouched forests of Cape Tribulation or the Daintree National Park just an hour’s drive away. Here you can gain a bird’s eye view from the beautiful Mount Alexandria Lookout, walk along the isolated beaches of Shipwreck Bay (only accessible by boat) and stop to admire giant turtles, clams, and tropical fish as sand squeaks beneath your feet. On your journey to this magical region, stop for brunch or a coffee and perhaps a few local treats at nearby Port Douglas, or learn more about the area at the Daintree Discovery Centre or Daintree Entomological Museum. A must visit is a brief stop or even a picnic at Thornton Beach on the other side of the Daintree Rainforest on Cape Tribulation Road, just an hour’s drive from the Daintree National Park and Mossman Gorge just 15 minutes from Palm Cove.
