If you're here physically but mentally you're living it up in Oystese, it's time to book that getaway. Oystese's downtown area doesn't have much in terms of accommodation, but you can book a stay in any of the 2 hotels within 10 kilometres of the action.

If you're hoping to crash close to the central streets, the Hardangerfjord Hotel and Thon Hotel Sandven are great choices.

It's well known that Aussies are pretty relaxed, so consider kicking back a little longer and going to the Railway Museum and Steam Railway and the Ulriken Cable Car in Bergen, 50 kilometres to the west of Oystese. Gorgeous room, clean and spacious. Incredible views. We were lucky to have a room overlooking the lake, and also at the very end of a long corridor so didn’t experience any noise from other guests walking by. Great staff, helpful and friendly cleaning staff did a wonderful job.
