Perfect location for my short stay packed with activities! Situated right at the train station and bus station that we needed to take for our day tours. Breakfast was good, better selection than the same chain in Stockholm that I am staying at right now. The room was spacious and clean. Was mostly quiet EXCEPT in the early morning when there was noise that sounded like someone was moving furniture around for at least half an hour, which woke me up earlier than needed. I was in room 340 and am not sure what was above my room— another guest room or common area.

Good hotel but needs little extras to make it grea

Very well located hotel, great for kids with a games console and a shuffleboard table. Good selection at breakfast. No tea or coffee or safe in the room. We got told off for drinking a can of lager in the seating area at hotel reception whilst the Norwegians on the next table who were doing the same didn’t. Lots of people eating take away in the reception seating area every night so think that is allowed. Overall a nice hotel but there should be tea and coffee in the room and a safe. Our room was not cleaned at all the whole time we were there which was also strange but didn’t spoil the experience.

We had a one night stay here on our way through Norway. Check in was easy - staff was pleasant enough. Room was small but had a comfortable bed (though slightly on the harder side for me), bathroom was a good size and shower had good pressure and nice shampoo and body soaps to use. Chromecast was difficult - couldn’t get it to work on mine or my husbands phones and staff just offered the excuse that it’s touchy with iPhones (my husband has an android so that was not our issue). Breakfast was ok - not the best we’ve had in Norway but still had a decent spread of options. The area was ideal, but coming out of season not too much open for restaurants to eat at (which is not the fault of the hotel).

Great modern hotel. Room was quite small but very well arranged and well thought out for family of 4. Bar was lovely and just nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast. Would absolutely stay again.

The hotel staff were nice and helpful. The family room with bunks worked for us, but was a little cramped. Parking was easy in the connected garage. Overall nice hotel in excellent location.

Great location, spacious rooms, kids loved the bunk bed. The dinner buffet is not worth it, the breakfast buffet is usual fare and not particular great either. The property does get crowded and some times the buffet does get very crowded. The best part of it is really the location, you can roll your bags out of the train station and into the hotel. The gondola ride is right next door, there is a super pretty lake right next door where you can kayak, and the park along the banks is where all the parasailors land. There aren't many restaurant options, though.
