Real Heat! Real Hot Water! ibis Ouarzazate was a warm welcome from the night before (no heat in the building). The room was very clean. The bathroom was very clean. My room had a good view of the surrounding area and there were many places to eat nearby. The staff was friend but not over barring. I will lodge here the next time I am in Ouarzazate.

Whether it was the attentive service at breakfast or the helpful tips for navigating the city, the hospitality was warm, genuine, and professional. The Food: Breakfast by the pool was a highlight of our mornings. Fresh, traditional Moroccan pastries and perfectly made omelets served in a serene garden setting. We also dined at their restaurant, Out of Africa, which offered a delicious fusion of flavors that rivaled any high-end spot in town. The room was well appointed & the bedspreads and couch lovely. The refrigerator was nice to have. Breakfast is simple. Personally I found the pillows too thick and hard, but not enough so to lower my rating.

An overall good experience. Checking in was easy and fast. The property is pretty with orange and lemon trees everywhere. A bit of a walk for us to our room so if you have health challenges you may want to request something close to the lobby before you check in. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was just ok, but breakfast was fantastic and had a lot of good options. We also liked our room and the staff was very friendly.
