This was an excellent find! We stayed here Labor Day weekend and were whitewater kayaking on the Beaver River during the annual fall festival. This cabin has everything you could ever need. It was clean and very cozy. I really appreciated the rustic off grid style. The outdoor fireplace was very nice and it was amazing having the roof above us since it was raining. There was also a gas grill. Seriously can't get over how well equipped this cabin is. You can't go wrong staying in this cabin and I'm excited to check out the other cabins for future years. This cabin is priced VERY well. It should be booked up more often. The hosts are very nice as well.

Wonderful! We took advantage of everything this property had to offer and enjoyed every minute. We lounged around the fire pit, went boating, paddle boarding, and played games. There were some beautiful hiking trails nearby, apple picking, My mother turned 80 this week and she really enjoyed winning the contest and 2 bonus prizes. She wants me to thank John and Donna for their hospitality. Thank you for lending us your home and making our stay special.

We stayed here for a perfect fall getaway. A little hard to find in the dark, so I'd recommend getting there before dark. Other than that it was in a peaceful setting, quiet out of the way place we'd definitely stay at again.

Lovely cabin on the lake. Beds were very comfortable, nice kitchen would recommend adding a few kitchen. Utensils couldn’t find a peeler nor serving dishes. A few storage containers for leftovers would help as well. Last would recommend a mirror in the upstairs bedroom and a place to hang some clothes. Love this place and hope to come back to it. We are there late September, midweek and it was very quiet. We were the only boat on the lake and the fall foliage was stunning .

Nice relaxing atmosphere for a quick getaway. We found the Forest Pond Cottage to be exactly as described. Carol and Dan Empie are thoughtful and gracious hosts.
