This hotel is centrally located. The basement level of the hotel is directly connected to the Shinsaibashi subway station, and to an underground entrance of the PARCO department store across the street. The PARCO department store is connected to the adjacent Daimaru department store, which in turn has an entrance on the covered Shinsaibashi shopping street. The subway station is only five minutes from Umeda Station which made it very easy to get to Osaka Aquarium, Osaka Castle, Kobe, and Nara. There are two breakfast buffet options at this hotel. The first option is a 2nd floor restaurant that offers a Western buffet with a small Japanese food section. The second option is a 3rd floor restaurant that offers a more upscale Japanese-food only buffet. We particularly enjoyed the selection of food at the second restaurant, and ate there more than once during our stay. We also had pleasant conversations with Chef Sawamura, and learned from him how the hotel showcases local ingredients (including rice from the same prefecture as the hotel). We could tell the food was prepared with great care with distinct and subtle flavours. The other hotel staff we interacted with were also courteous, attentive, and spoke English. The hotel room was perfectly fine. My one suggestion for improvement is to increase the amount of light in the bathroom; the bathroom has a dark colour scheme and I think needs more light to be able to clearly see oneself in the mirror. I would stay here again.

Behind the mirror are blinds that opens into the sleeping area. Both the blinds and the main window curtain needs to be open to let sufficient light into the bathroom.

Our stay at this hotel was amazing. Price was very reasonable, room was really spacious compared to other hotel rooms in Japan that I’ve stayed a, and really clean; and the view, we got the city view and it was so beautiful. I will most definitely stay at this hotel every time I travel to Osaka. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is situated on the edge of Osaka's version of Tokyo's Ginza District. The staff is friendly, helpful, and polite. The hotel itself is very nice and the beds were comfortable. My only quibble was that the room got too warm for my tastes, even with the central air set as low as possible. There are clearly marked notes in the room regarding this, with a guest able to rent fans from the hotel. A cold shower or bath is an alternative. I would atay here again.
