Fantastic hotel

Staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. The hotel really did feel like a home. Breakfast is absolutely delicious, as there is an on site bakery. Definitely recommend.

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the hallway and elevator during my stay — they were quite dirty. Additionally, I was surprised that there was no free washing machine available. I had to spend over USD 10.00 each time just to wash and dry my clothes. In contrast, when I stayed at Onyado Nono in Kyoto and Osaka, the laundry service was much more convenient: the washing machine was free, and drying only cost 200 yen. I hope your hotel can consider offering a similar service and improving cleanliness in shared areas.

The rooms are VERY small, there is absolutely no place to put stuff, and the bathroom is smaller than a cruise’s bathroom with again, nowhere to put your stuff. Also, the hotel was packed with people, so waiting for the elevator was a nightmare. People used the onsen a lot, I didn’t try it, but that was another reason for the congestion in the elevators. The hotel is super close to Dotonbori street and there are lots of places to eat or buy food, but there are soo many people in the area. I don’t know if it’s always like this, or we came in at a especially busy time, but it was overwhelming with so many people

The rooms are nice, the top-floor onsen fabulous. Staff was friendly and the location is in the heart of a busy, energetic area, close to the dotonburi. Our biggest issue was that on arrival, our bathroom smelled terribly of urine. They sent cleaners but it remained terrible. We had to ask to be sent to another room, which was on a different floor from the rest of our group. The next day we did move back up again, but moving through three different rooms in 24 hours was less restful than we had hoped, and we would have preferred to have the situation resolved sooner. However, it was eventually resolved, and the rest of our stay was very enjoyable. The only other thing is that while the lobby is fairly large, there are very few places to sit in it, and since the hotel also accommodates large groups, it was often filled with people and luggage and hard to maneuver. However, we would stay here again for the onsen!

Expensive hotel , with spa. But if you did not use spa , will not worth to stay. Good point, convenient and many shops around this hotel and spa. Bad point, small room, expensive room, breakfast is not nice, check out at 11am and need to carry your heavy luggage to lock it by your own and if you are unluckily, no space for ground, need to use your hand to carry and put on the second level of shelves. Abit disappointment with their arrangement.

The hotel is generally pleasant, but the cleanliness can improve further. For example, the lifts were dirty at night and morning. I know it may be due to the number of people staying in the hotel, but still.

The receptionists were not friendly. I had a 3yr old daughter with a pram and 3 baggage. I asked if they could please help take my baggage to my room when I checked in. They refused and said they don’t offer that kind of service.
