When you see totally gorgeous landscapes plastered all over the telly, it's hard not to be too jelly. So why not spoil yourself with a holiday in Orotelli and experience the picture-postcard beaches, forests, wetlands and mountains of Sardinia?

The country's capital, Rome, can be found about 330 kilometres to the northeast of Orotelli.

Venture out to Bonorva, 25 kilometres away. When you get there, you should head straight to the Nuraghe Sant'Antine.

How about some time chilling out on the coastline? Balai Beach is situated 85 kilometres from Orotelli. Sitting 80 kilometres away, Bombarde Beach is another good choice.
