PROS AND CONS TO MARGARITAVILLE RESORT The property itself is clean and beautiful, staff is pleasant and friendly. I like the idea that the hotel teamed up with Island H20 that was walking distance (this park was fun) and lots of restaurants are walking distance on Sunset walk, this was good. Outside of that, there is no entertainment on the property itself. It is a boring resort, you have to find means and ways to entertain yourself and family. The bigger pool was not heated and temperature in orlando on the weekend of the 21st -23rd was cold, only the pool that the kids mostly went was a bit heated. This is a big resort and it doesn't provide even breakfast. You have to buy breakfast on property, and a decent breakfast may cost from $10 up or you have to go out to the restaurants. I have been to smaller hotel/resort and they at least provided breakfast. Coming from the Caribbean, this resort is nothing comparing to some in the Caribbean, you get all inclusive food, drinks, bottle for refilling water, multiple restaurants that are included in the package, lively pools and non stop activities etc. For $812 there should at least be breakfast and heated pools at Margaritaville. We felt like we rented the resort room just to have somewhere to sleep at nights. For a vacation and that price, there should've been more things for attraction and entertainment. Iam happy that we had booked for other activities outside the hotel to do or it would've been a wasted vacation.

For a margarittaville other than the indoor restaurant no other bars open after 5pm. Found that disappointing especially after being at parks all day would be nice to sit by pool and have a drink. Pool is open until 9 but no where to get a drink other than restaurant. Staff not overly friendly especially at check out. Bus service to parks was nice.Hotel is a little dated but its ok.

We paid for a late check out and our room was already locked an hour (if not more as we went to get food). I will be following to make sure we don’t get charged the extra fee. The tablet in the did not work. The man who checked us in was not helpful with any details on the resort. The other people who trapped us for 20 mins trying to get us to buy tickets was more helpful. But over all enjoyed our stay and will be coming back
