Margaritaville Orlando Villas

We rented one of the 3 bedroom 3 bathroom villas for a family vacation to Orlando. The villa was literally like a move-in ready house. This was by far the nicest accommodation we have ever rented during travel. The resort was surprisingly large and immaculately clean, laid out like a subdivision of houses complete with its own small village of small stores and restaurants. In addition to the huge main pool, there are several smaller pools all around the complex so that whether you are in the hotel, a condo, a villa or a cottage you never have to walk very far to get to a pool. The H2O Island water park was fun and entertaining, especially during the hot August sun. I would definitely stay at Margaritaville Orlando again in the future and recommend this resort to anyone looking for a home away from home while on vacation.

The Margaritaville Property was beautiful, clean, very convenient to shopping, walkable to restaurants and H20 water or you can take the shuttle bus provided. My only complaint with Margaritaville is their customer service desk, they do not hesitate to display how nonchalant they can be if you are of color, racist in your face at its finest, very dismissive. They are very quick to judge you as if you cannot afford to stay at the Resort. I must say THANK YOU to Ms. Tori for your great customer service since the rest lack that from the supervisors down to the front desk reps.

There are many negatives we had experienced, unfortunately. For starters, we had security come to our cottage our first night, because a noise complaint. I went to the front desk the next morning, only to find out that they went to the incorrect property! Door knobs upstairs were broken, lounge chair broken, and when we went to use the pull out sofa, there was blood stains on the comforter and sheets!! Oh, and we had to wait to check In because Housekeeping was there and inspecting the property, what did they inspect or clean??!!! Also, the fire alarms didn’t have batteries in them, we heated up a slice of pizza in to oven, which immediately started smoking because of all the grime left in the oven. I was concerned about the alarms going off, and realized that they weren’t even blinking which prompted us to look further and realize that they didn’t have any batteries in them! All in all it was disappointing and disgraceful.

Honestly would not stay here again. Upon arrival our villa was dirty from the start. Hair and crumbs were all over the floor. Tags of clothing from previous guests were left in the bedrooms. Privacy fence was broken. Sliding screen door to the outside made a horrible screeching sound when opening and closing that it detoured us from even using the back patio. Upstairs sink in master bath was clogged and shower tub in guest bath was clogged which was a total unconvince when bathing. No instructions were left for use of WiFi. Paid so much money to stay here and was looking for a homey experience instead it was more of a headache then staying at a regular hotel.

The check in process was a nightmare! Moreover, we were in the cottage...which we thought was a great idea. But there were ants everywhere , TV remote was Missing...the microwave was broken. We were traveling with kids so add that as a stressor... It was not what we had expected. I felt like I paid to be uncomfortable.
