Book Okuhida Hot Spring Village hotels

The hotel overall was very good. We booked it via Expedia for 3 adults and one15 yrs old, but it was appare fly a triple room so they charged us for an extra adult even though there was not really sleep space for 4 people. I’m not sure if the confusion was at the Expedia website or the property but they should either change the children definition age or at least warn tourists about it.

Great place to stay. Every room has a washing machine.

Again service in Japan and at hotel Around was faultless. Our hotel was perfectly situated for a 3 night stay. Walking distance to train and shopping/ old quarter etc. Really enjoyed Takayama and our hotel.

Large resort surrounded by beautiful green space. Friendly services, excellent Japanese dinner and breakfast. Public, private, and in room onsen.

Good stay at the hotel. The Japanese rooms were amazing and we had a great vegetarian kaiseki dinner and really enjoyed the onsens. Would defintely recommend staying at this hotel. Only issue is transport to the location is a bit difficult if you don't have a car. We were aware of this and messaged ahead to ask about the availability of the hotel shuttle bus to the bus stop for our departure. Unfortunately, when we arrived the receptionist was unaware they had a shuttle bus and was very unwilling to check the information we were given or even help us sort out alternative travel. It led to a bit of a concerning situation for our travel plans before another staff memeber corrected her and arranged our transport.
