We had a very disappointing stay at Abidah. We were there for 9 days and for 7 of those days the elevator was out of order. We had to walk up 4 flights of stairs every time we came and went. We were actually stuck in the elevator one time and had to pry the doors open. The breakfast buffet was the same every day except they changed the pork sausage to chicken sausage. The (powdered ?) scrambled eggs were the same everyday. If you don't get there early, the food is cold. Dinner meals were themed, but the same for the 2nd week. Most of the staff was lazy and inattentive, especially the wait and bar staff. TV channels were very limited. No hand soap in the main bathroom in the room. Room was spacious, though, with a nice view of the ocean. No counter space in the bathroom because there were 2 sinks. Liquor and wine selection was very poor; unknown brands of liquor and only 4 kinds of wine. Pool shower was not fixed until 6 ays after we got there. Would not recommend this "high-end, all-inclusive" hotel, especially for the price we paid.

The hotel needs major renovations. We had a five days/ four nights stay and their elevator broke down on the second day, so we had to go up and down 4,6 or 8 flights of stairs to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner when we weren’t doing excursions. They didn’t have any activities except for Karaoke once. BUT their staff was amazing, hospitable and friendly. I wouldn’t recommend though. The 2 star was basically for the staff, I’m sorry to say.

Firstly, the staff were excellent—very helpful, accommodating, and attentive throughout our stay. However, given the price per night, the hotel needs to significantly improve its physical maintenance. The television was no longer mounted on the wall and instead placed on a stand, leaving exposed unsightly electrical wiring. We were told this was due to new televisions being installed that no longer fit the existing frames. This raises concerns about decision-making and planning, as replacements should be compatible with the spaces provided. It make the room look untidy and not a pleasant place to stay. Additionally, the soap holder had broken off the wall and was placed on the sink, not sure why this can’t be fixed. The hot tub cannot be filled independently and requires staff assistance, which was inconvenient. Mosquitoes in the lobby were also a constant issue. There were no vegetarian options available on the dinner menu, only fish and meat, the Chef was able to provide pasta and chick peas as an alternative on one night. There was not lentil peas stew, kidney pea stew etc, there were mushrooms and baked beans available for breakfast. Overall, we made the best of our stay, but the investors and owners should give serious consideration to improving the maintenance and upkeep of the physical property to better align with the price point and guest expectations

It was a beautiful view from the balcony. The room size was nice. There were a few items that need repair, but overall good. Staff was pleasant, but not as inviting and friendly as others on the island. They were able to address all of my needs. Shuttle service to sister property is nice, but you'll need to stay all day or find transport back. Food was decent. There was usually one item that was really good. Drinks were good, but not strong. The beach is down the street a bit vs walk out. A ten minute walk will get you to the main road to the bus, convenience stores, restaurants. Oistin Fish Fry is a few minutes more, but stilll walkable. Ask the front desk instead of Google Maps. Places are closer than they seem. The pool is nice as well. The gym had a few cardio machines, dumbbells and weight machines. Enough to get in a sufficient workout, but a smaller space. Not much activity at the hotel, but there was Karaoke Saturday night. I stayed Thursday - Monday.

The location of the hotel was good. Not far from airport, beach or Oistins at all. The jacuzzi on the balcony was a nice touch the room. The rooms were ok. Room service could have been a tad bit better. I wish the pool was larger or at least had another pool in the hotel. Our favorite parts of the hotel was the food. 10/10 food specifically the breakfast and lunch. All the staff were very polite and nice to us. We enjoyed our stay!

The staff were friendly and professional- especially Marissa who always remembered our preferred drinks. The food was exceptional and the room was spacious and spotless. For the first 3 days we had to have our air conditioning reset several times per day and although the staff were quick to do so, this was not ideal. On the 4th day, after speaking with the manager in the morning, a technician was brought in and the AC worked properly for the remainder of our stay. On the 5th day, when we came back to our room in the evening, we found a hand written note from the hotel apologizing for our inconvenience and a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge! - a classy gesture on their part. You can tell a lot about a place from the way they respond to problems. We would stay here again.

This was a beautiful space for us to relax in! The staff was helpful, friendly, and great with suggestions. The space is both modern and relaxed, clean, and generally well-kept. Beach view from the balcony was a favorite for reading and quick calls during the week. We saw a couple of monkeys on the roof next door one morning. The pool is small and shallow, but useable. There is a workout room as well. The lovely public beach nearby has both a more relaxed and surf side, with bathroom and shower amenities onsite. Keep an eye out for the turtles that swim near the guard tower on the bayside! We were out daily to enjoy the sea, and the community vibe. Food at Remous is mostly good to excellent, but the desserts were a bit sketchy. Service was fabulous, and bar service was a delight! This area isn’t very trendy/busy, but it’s a quick walk to Oistins, and easy to grab a bus or taxi. The sister resort, Accra, is more centrally located, so just grab the shuttle there to shop, if desired. Absolutely enjoyed our stay, and would book here again!
