Property had easy access to boardwalk, and was safe at night. Stay was great. Pool was clean. Rooms were clean, can’t help sand being everywhere. Ac units could use an update. Our room was cold but later on at night ac would blow warm air. Would stay again if we were to come back.

The allowance and encouraging of smoking everywhere but inside the rooms sadly ruined the experience. There were smoke buckets outside every room in the walkways, and on every balcony. Every time we went out to the balcony, we smelled smoke. When we went to the boardwalk, we had to pass by others sitting in the open walkways smoking. I asked 2 separate people at the front desk on 2 separate days about this, and they both said the same thing. "Yes, its totally fine. Just don't smoke in the room." On Hotels.com it is listed as a smoke free property, which means smoking is prohibited in all areas of a property. I can see if people are sneaking it, but when you have buckets filled with sand everywhere for cigarette butts, then you are actively helping and encouraging your guests to smoke.

I must admit I was skeptical when I booked this establishment because I have been to Ocean City many times and never looked at this place as somewhere I could stay. Either because of affordability or because of how I perceived it to look. I was wrong. This establishment was affordable AND while "mature" you can see that they are upgrading from inside out. Obviously this place needs nothing because the LOCATION is PERFECT. Add the friendliness of the staff, and their willingness to make your stay the best in OC only adds to the overall experience. Nothing is perfect, and yes the electrical outlets could be upgraded. But think about it, I literally commented on the outlets as a "negative". That was my only concern charging my 8 devices. Maybe I didn't need all 8. And I didn't because again LOCATION and service. You have access to the boardwalk in its grandest! If you want to be in the midst of action this is it. My whole family can't wait to go back! I can't wait to take advantage of the returning customer discount, making it only more affordable It was a great family outing for sure.

The office staff are super friendly. The motel is right on the boardwalk with easy access to everything. It's an older motel, definitely could use some TLC. The first room my husband and son were in smelled like smoke as a man constantly stood outside the door and smoked and the rooms had wall AC that pulled in smoke. The staff really moved them to another room with no complaints. My biggest issue was the cleaning staff. The first thing I noticed on arrival was the floor was sandy when we first walked in the room. I overheard the neighbor complain about the same thing in their room so I just cleaned ours. We were there for 5 days and they never offered to clean the room or change sheets. Just gave us towels when we asked. I've cleaned hotel rooms before and would never go five days without changing sheets. It's convenient to everything, has a great pool and the office staff couldn't be nicer. Overall, you get what you pay for.

I wanted a place on the boardwalk to meet with family who were staying nearby in a condo. It was a great location - right on the boardwalk, close and easy! I love that the rooms were labeled with their location. I got a room that wasn’t facing the boardwalk or pool and it was quiet.

We enjoy so many walkable places near the Rideau! This was our first stay and we will definitely go back. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The owner went out of her way to accommodate our requests with professionalism and kindness. The room was very clean, beds were super comfy! We had an amazing long weekend stay!
