Mitch on reception, very welcoming & friendly. Great ‘Director of First Impressions’. Room was absolutely lovely. Food amazing, especially brekkie! (Chef very friendly and accommodating). Gym, small but had decent equipment. Spa, lovely (although disappointed that the steam room wasn’t operational) and bar staff exceptional. Dody is such a credit to your team. Loved our stay and will most definitely be back xx

To be fair the staff were all really lovely and helpful. But the hotel is worn and outdated. The room was nice but pretty basic. Definitely needs a revamp. We went in the spa which I visited 15 years ago and its still identical except the spa shower wasnt working, nor the ice chips. Cracked paint/plaster in the ceiling above the pool and all along the changing room corridor. Nice, but no where near what I expected it to be like. Shame really as it was a special treat for us. Cheap sausages at breakfast too, with stale pastries, the coffee machine was also coming up with errors. Not good enough, would not recommend or stay there again.

The hotel is clean & comfortable The only reason I would stay at this hotel is if I was attending a horse race meeting Lingfield itself is quite a walk..so if you are not going to eat in the hotel, & don't want to drive or taxi, it's a trek The rooms are large & comfy, & I didn't experience any noise, so slept well Ample free parking available Food in the restaurant was nice & plentiful The safe in our room was out of order

Specifically requested one room needed to have a bath and that the rooms were next to each other - received neither on check in. Had to move to a room with a bath which was a long way from the other room. Rooms are dark with several light bulbs not working. Terrible experience in the restaurant for dinner. Steak was inedible so sent it back, second steak also inedible so one of our party went without a main course. No deduction offered on the bill.
