The location and ambience was fabulous with the Balinese architecture. Staff were warm and friendly. And always greeted you in passing no matter what their role was. The pools and beach were beautiful to relax by and swim, with daily aquarobics a fun activity. The breakfast buffet offered every kind of cuisine and food was plentiful and replenished throughout. We enjoyed a nice meal in the Genji Japanese restaurant. The fire dance and bbq in the traditional outdoor theatre was entertaining. The spa was luxurious and prices very moderate so we treated ourselves to massages and facials. If you’re looking for 5 star dining then you’ll be disappointed. The menus are a bit the same by the pool or beach and don’t always deliver on the promise. Interestingly they don’t offer any Balinese dishes. We travelled Feb 2026 and it seemed that upgrades were happening around the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, if not a little dated but we spent most of our time outside by the pool, at a spa or shopping. Note that there is a new resort under construction next door so if you have a room facing that direction you’ll get the noise all day and even j to the night. I’d recommend Ayodya and Nusa Dua for a low key resort holiday. If you want to party, go to Seminyak.

Amazing property, the buffet breaky was great. Staff were really friendly. The beach was amazing. Awesome dinning options. The restaurant on the beach was our favourite. We accidently booked the wrong room and they helped us changed to a more suitable room asap. Fantastic stay!

Beautiful facility with old Balinese vibe. Rooms are little bit outdated but big and clean. Great for family with kids too. Breakfast has lots options but the quality needs improvement. Location is far from bars/ shops. It's not as busy as Kuta or Seminyak. The beach is clean and beautiful.

The room and bathroom were outdated and filthy, particularly the bathroom. Staff always very courteous. The swimming pools were way too hot and the decking around the Palace pool was outdated and dangerous. The umbrellas were inadequate and provided practically no shade as was evident from the empty sun loungers on a daily basis. Main restaurant menu very poor. Indian restaurant was disgusting. Surf shack food inedible and food at the beachside restaurant was average with the service being very poor. We would not return to this hotel.

Having stayed here years ago, I was a bit disappointed this time. The room has hair in the bathroom sink and shower from past guests. There were several mosquitoes trapped in the room which made an unpleasant sleep and overall the place is showing age and less care on upkeep. The pools were really cloudy and hard to find somewhere to relax with shade. Such a shame as it has such a beautiful vibe.
