Great for the night

The hotel is close to the metro and walkable to monuments (1 to 3miles for most)if preferable. Uber n taxis easy to get. Breakfast buffet had hot n cold choices, enough to satisfy most tastes. Bed was comfortable n room was quiet. I would use them again if in the area.

The room was clean and comfortable. I love the non-carpeted floors, so clean! The only tiny thing was that the toilet tank lid had a crack in it and should be replaced. Not a big deal and I didn't even mention it to the staff assuming that every time the bathroom was cleaned, the crack was seen. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice variety of egg dishes and breads and muffins.

I stayed at Hotel Nell while I was in town for a conference. The room was excellent, had everything I wanted! The staff were awesome to interact with. Two problems for me - First the street noise was problematic! The hotel is located on a very busy street and there is a lot of traffic on this street 24/7. And don’t get me started on police and fire truck sirens. The staff’s fix for this was ear plugs. Second, I was attending a conference that started between 8-9am every day. The restaurant in the hotel didn’t open until 8:30 and 9am on weekends. That meant locating breakfast somewhere else which was Blue Bottle Coffee. Great little place but limited options. There were not any other options around the hotel that I could find.

Having a security guard in the lobby made me feel much safer, the areas around the hotel didn’t feel safe.

Highly recommend close to a lot of places
