Smoking is everywhere, I don’t like. I stay in room 2516 omg is expensive but no ocean view is constricting from 6am . I can not believe that hotel have 5 Stars . But staff is star 10 ❤️

Room was clean, comfortable bed, but a little dated, bathroom floor has cracks, but it was fine. The spa was a scam, unbelievable that they made you pay before the appt and when arrived, they prolonged you before you went for treatment, they then asked if you want a massage chair!! Which I declined, I paid for 80 min ..she stopped at 60min ..she was not licensed and it was not even a massage, doused in oil and just rubs! Was horrible..was supposed to be a sauner, that was false too..it was a scam! Don't use the spa! Dinner on the beach was amazing and food was delicious!! The all inclusive food was just ok, but the hibachi restaurant was outstanding!!

When my wife and I arrived at Barcelo in Aruba we were very pleased with ALL the smiles and helpful advice we received. Everything and everyone were super nice. We are grateful and will be coming back to this wonderful place.

When we arrived the intitial room we were given literally faced a shipping container and a construction zone. We asked for a new room ...it was 2 floors up and had the same view. We stayed in our original room. After returning from the beach the next day - there was a note that they were moving us. Much nicer view. We really enjoyed the resort. Food options were plentiful. The staff was absolutely amazing! We had a few favorites - Charissa and Zulay in the restaurant, Omar in the outside bar, and Michael in the Mexican Lindo. I enjoyed a massage in the Spa and received a very warm welcome by Donna and a great massage by Juan Carlos. We enjoyed pre dinner cocktails in the Lobby bar. We also did a boat trip to snorkel by Aruba Water Sports - great captain and first mate. Will definitley return!

This place was overall great but the buffet food could’ve been better. Not many options & the food did not taste good. The food from the restaurants they offer was wayyyy better, so I recommend eating at the restaurants or eating out. Also did not have the greatest experience my last day as I got food poisoning from a burger I ordered from room service. Besides all of that the staff was really friendly & the hotel was very cutesy.

Staff was amazing. The Resturants were good. 4 dinner options required reservations, two did not. Food had same taste in all eating options.. We stayed two weeks and decided to have dinner off resort the secomd week. It is not cheap... Room sercice was as good or better than some dining options. All ocean views are from the side unlwss you habe an ocen front room... gotta pay attention to that. The ROYAL LEVEL has one resturant and one bar in addition to " regular" inclusive options. Ralph on the beach was attentive, Jamie amd his crew in the royal leval resturant were great. The casino lobby bar was ok..drinks were inconcistant but bottomless.. We had a couple great servers there as well...

Upon arrival to our room, we found a clean bed, no towels in room, and someone’s toe nails all over the flour. As if it harder been swept. Two days later the hotel guest manager asked if we received or VIP package upon entering our room, which included wine and cheese additionally a later. I told home we had wine and a letter addressed to the wrong people. I also explained to our room safe was not functioning and needed to be replaced. He was apologetic and embarrassed embarrassed. He corrected the dirty floors, lack of towels, replaced safe and gave us towels. And for the inconvenience he gave a a free dinner (which was an all inclusive vacation for us anyways, so would have been free regardless). But he made an effort to correct the problem and that is what mattered to us. After going to Barceló for a few years I am realizing that their quality in there presentation, staff, rooms, food all around the quality is declining rapidly. It’s sad. Been going with a large group for 25+ years. Hope things can change an we can continue to got there.

The resort staff are very nice and friendly and the beach staff are very accommodating but not enough beach hut’s for everyone. And if you want one you have to get up at 5:00 am in the morning to get one!!

I was very disappointed with my recent stay. My room was not cleaned for several days, and I had to repeatedly request fresh towels. The bathroom drain did not work properly; although maintenance came to fix it, the issue persisted. The staff I encountered seemed overwhelmed and short-staffed, which may explain the poor service. However, when you’re paying top-tier prices, basic expectations such as daily cleaning, functioning facilities, and readily available amenities should be met. Unfortunately, this hotel did not deliver the level of service I expected.

Overall, I gave this stay four stars because in general, we had a good time. The food was pretty good and they had a variety of foods at the buffets from day-to-day. However, when we booked our trip initially, we had booked a two queen bedroom. When we got there, they only had one king bed rooms available. To try and make it right they had us check out of our original room after the first night and the plan was to have us recheck in to a two queen bedroom later that day. So we had to check out of our original room by 11 AM and unfortunately did not have a room between the hours of 11 AM and 4 PM when check-in started again. Upon trying to check in again they still only had one king bed rooms available. So it was frustrating that we felt that we had left our room and were unable to use a room for several hours in the hopes of getting a two clean bedroom. The only upside was the new room they put us in was kind of an upgrade because it was more of a suite in the fact that it had a kitchenette and a living room area on the opposite side from the bedroom. Also, the bed in that room was much softer. The bed in the original room was like sleeping on a rock. Again, I say overall we had a good time outside of the room debacle. I don’t know that I would stay there again, but I would definitely visit Aruba again.
