Tired hotel, badged as Newcastle but around 7 miles outside. Disappointing that food closed at 9.30 with no room service available. No options to eat within walking distance. Having stayed at 10 other village hotels this is the worst by far and in need of a makeover.

Hotel and facilities good but I message late last night because of the disturbance coming from above and I didn’t get a response which resulted in very little sleep. Reception staff excellent.
