Great for the price!!!

If you plan to hangout in your hotel room the whole time this is not the hotel for you. The hotel is a little older/smaller and the elevator had some issues but they got it fixed quickly. Our view was nothing to write home about as it was simply another building, HOWEVER the location is incredible and the price was fantastic! We had a room at the end of the hall which had access to a fire escape. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We didn’t spend much time in the room so this worked perfectly for us. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Nice Affordable Option to the Big Brands

It's a nice hotel with spacious rooms in the heart of Manhattan. Can't argue with that. It's a nice alternative to the convention hotels if you don't feel like paying those prices and don't mind walking a block or two.

Flawless stay

Stayed for two nights and had no complaints. Arrived late at night and found my credit card had been blocked (international card), the staff at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful and let me use their phone to call my bank. My room was very spacious and bed was comfortable. I could hear the TV in the next room but only minimally. Bathroom was clean and well equipped. Location was perfect for a two days of being a tourist. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Absolutely remarkable staff, helpful, thoughtful. The room itself was amazing. Great bed, great shower, and the room was massive. The only downside I would say are the bones of the building itself (hallways, elevator). We knew going into it that we would only be in the hotel when we were asleep, so if you have the same plan, i cant recommend the shoreham more.

Could definitely use a remodel. Only one of the 2 elevators was working while I was there. Carpet in the room was quite dirty. Bathtub was not working at all. Simple updates would make this a great place to stay.

elevators were a pain and rooms were dirty. part of bathroom was out of order. NO warm water in the shower, only in the sink which wasn’t great since we visited in the middle of January.

This property was really nice, though they were missing some basic items like trash liners and tissues. Our shower also leaked onto the floor each time someone used it. The last thing is there very few outlets in the room. Overall nice place for the price, but needs more up keep.
