There's a hidden 'resort fee' when you check in. Our room was leaking brown water from the ceiling of the bathroom.

The pictures verses reality were misleading - I slept fully clothed as I thought I would catch a rash or something having a dark room without a window.

Toilet flush really loud. You can also hear when other rooms flush. Pillows not comfortable. Front desk super nice and accommodating. Great location near tons of restaurants.

I stayed in room 201, and HVAC was so laud that I barely could sleep. My coworkers stayed in different rooms and they don't have this problem. Comfortable mattress, quite, smooth coffee, convenient location, friendly personal.

Reasonably-priced hotel gem in NYC

Great hotel for single traveller, amazing location, very clean and quiet, friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable front-desk staff. Great free mini-bar fridge in room Appreciated hot tea/cocoa in lobby on very cold days! Missed having a window in the room - but nothing's perfect!

Front desk personnel could not have been nicer or more helpful. And I loved having the stocked-with-freebies room refrigerator, especially since travel difficulties and my evening event prevented me from having dinner anywhere.

This is a lovely small hotel- very clean and well kept. No microwave but a fridge stocked with goodies and soft drinks. Coffee, tea & hot chocolate in the lobby. No breakfast but lots of places in the neighborhood to get something. Nice Whole Foods close by.

Perfect Hotel in Manhattan

This hotel was perfect all around. Clean room, very functional, in a perfect location convenient to LGA. Although I chose based on my meeting location, I would also return for personal travel as it is a bit off the bustle of the West side, yet very convenient to walk to shows or museums. Also near a station for the R line that goes to Queens and Brooklyn. But above all, the front desk personnel was excellent. Very friendly lady, very helpful - that makes all the difference. Thank you! This place is a gem.

Perfect short vacation

Check in was a piece of cake, bed super comfortable and snacks in the fridge were complimentary. Well priced for the area and friendly staff. We had very good Lebanese food next door at Omar's and several bakeries and cafes are short walk for breakfast. Good complimentary coffee. Subway at Lexington and 53rd is a half block away and from there you can be in Times Square or Rockefeller Center in 2.5-3 minutes. Never took a cab and got around all of Manhattan easily from this location. I would stay there again anytime
