Ridiculous circuitous route to check in ... if you follow the signs you go behind a wall, through a cafeteria and down a pathway - when all you need to do is turn left when entering. Front desk spent a good 5 mins with a guest talking about his life stories and baseball while I stood there waiting to check in. Got to my room and had to open the window as there was an overwhelming stench of bleach in my room. Only then to find toilet paper in the toilet. Not impressed. I was there one night and only received housekeeping ONCE, completely skipped one day. When I mentioned it to the front desk they spent 5 mins checking their system to see why I didn't receive housekeeping yet never once received an apology or any type of compensation.

Let‘s get something straight - the view from the room (Freedom Tower, Statue of Liberty, etc. and the Manhattan skyline) is fabulous, and totally worth it. Staff was amazing, too. Only two things bothered us: (A) Elevators are too few for such a tall building; We would have to wait a long time for our turn to get into an elevator, with it being full multiple times when it arrived. (B) Room size was pretty small; While it‘s decent-sized for a NYC hotel, in hindsight, next time we stay, we will probably book two adjoining rooms so we do not feel so cramped. Loved everything else about it, though. Great place to stay if visiting NYC.

Breakfast was good but very busy and full (normal NYC vibe, really). Elevators get very full at rush hours and require long waits on the many (45) floors. The room Was tiny but sufficient for 3 (King with sofa bed), and an amazing view from the 25th floor. The location was the best- walking distance to so many central parts of the city and easy transit options.

Often a long wait for an elevator--not enough service with four elevators for a 45-story building. Otherwise, i had a very comfortable, quiet room to relax in diring a very busy week.

We had a great time staying here although our room didn’t get cleaned very often and there was really no trash can in our room except a small bathroom one which made it hard to throw out stuff from food products. The elevators take forever in the morning so we had to allow ample time to get to the places we needed to be. The breakfast was incredible and lots of options each morning although very busy and no where to sit at times so we had to take it up to our room.
