It was an absolutely awful experience - I am surprises you listed this property with hotels com. A dirty hotel, w/o a locker — all broken and rude check out experience

Hotel 32 32 was great. Located near the heart of Korea Town, its only a 20 minute walk from Time Square, and about a 10 minute walk to the Empire State Building. The location is right by a train station, and there is plenty of delicious Korean food options all near by the property. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms were great and well priced. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thanks so much!

Stay somewhere else.

The 3 staff members I saw were not friendly. Not rude but we’re not nice. The biggest issue I had is the heat was stuck on. Even when completely turned off and even when turned to the air conditioning setting. My patio door was stuck closed and the window was too heavy to crack so I had to battle between keeping the window open and closed. And the people below me were smoking on their balcony so I was smacked with cigarette smoke every few hours. The next issue was the bathroom. The sink backed up super easily. The shower caulking looked like a diy project. The shower head has a hand held and overhead feature. Figuring out how to switch back and fourth was difficult because it is not clearly labeled and the switch is a tiny switch on the temperature knob and you have to turn it just right to get the function to switch. Definitely not kid friendly, I couldn’t even fit my pack and play for my one year old and ended up having to co sleep in the tiny bed. I think this was the worst nights stay at a hotel I’ve ever had. I couldn’t ask to move rooms because I had my child settled before I noticed the issues and it was just a one night stay so I could get the train easy in the morning. It was also almost $50 in additional fees. Was well cleaned. Housekeeping is doing a great job. I wasn’t sure if the “amenities” in the room were complimentary so I decided to only drink one coke but I was charged $8 randomly so I’m not sure.

The location is the best thing going for this hotel. The rooms are small, not very updated. My A/C unit in room was old and did not blow cool air. Tiles in the bathroom shower where lose/damaged.

We have stayed a few times at this hotel and generally really like it. The main reason is the size of the room and the porch. However, the a/c unit does not go to cold (in March) - the units are apparently "set" to hot so even if you put it on cold hot air still blows, and the room can get really hot. This time, the door to the porch did not close properly so even though we were on the 17th floor, we were still able to hear street noise.
