First, the positive. The staff were nice, friendly and attentive to our concerns. The location was also a positive, few blocks from Empire State Building. The bad: the hotel is struggling. Seems like an old building that many things simply don’t work and they need to close the hotel and do a major gut renovation. Our room toilet did not flush as we arrive. Then we noticed the sink was not draining. When we pulled the toilet paper, the toilet paper holder fell on the ground. The bathroom door had hooks that fell off and did not get replaced. The room needs a fresh paint job and had walls that needed to be patched up. The bedroom did not have a room thermostat which made hard to adjust the temperature inside when the weather changed outside. All signs that they just need to close, remodel and start over. We hear the neighbor next door had issues with the room door that did not shut properly. I understand the staff was trying hard to deal with these problems but is a major uphill battle they can win. We made a complain to management and were able to agree to remove our additional resort fee since our room did not work properly. Other than that, the location was great.

The room itself was fine. The location was excellent. However... The fumes from an electrical fire under the street weren't vented for two days. The offer of some adjustment might have been a nice gesture.

From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The reception staff were kind, patient, and always ready to help with directions or recommendations. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and surprisingly spacious for NYC standards. The kitchenette was a great bonus, especially for quick breakfasts. I also loved how quiet it was inside the room, slept soundly every night. The hotel’s location near the subway made exploring the city incredibly easy. I left feeling refreshed and already planning my next visit! Thanks!

I travel to New York often for work, and this has quickly become my go-to hotel. It’s small enough to feel personal, but still has all the amenities I need. The staff always greets me with a smile and remembers my preferences, which makes a huge difference when you travel frequently. My suite had a little balcony with a city view — such a treat in Manhattan! The Wi-Fi is strong, the shower pressure is great, and everything feels thoughtfully maintained. Five stars without hesitation.

My room was cozy but beautifully decorated, with plenty of natural light and a view of the city streets below. Everything was clean and fresh, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in while traveling. The hotel’s central location made it easy to walk everywhere

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel 32 32. From the moment I checked in, the staff made me feel right at home. The location couldn’t be more perfect — just a short walk to the Empire State Building, Bryant Park, and so many great restaurants. My room was spotless, with a modern design and a super comfortable bed. I especially appreciated the little kitchenette; it was nice to have coffee in my room each morning before heading out to explore the city. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to New York!
